Stopped for an early dinner and got Mr. Sea’s Boat + Lobster Stew. Thank goodness we had a big appetite because it was a LOT of food to split between the two of us! Hot, very fresh & absolutely delicious!

The atmosphere was very nice and the girl who took my order was very patient and sweet! It was easy to figure out where things were located even though it was ‘t your typical sit-down restaurant. The main eating spot is outside and it’s quite small and intimate, but it’s very fun. You get to watch boats and the water while you eat very delicious and yummy foods.

Another bonus is that the bathroom (when I went and visited) was clean, so that was nice.

Made a quick stop for lunch. I’m not from here so I did a quick Google search to see where I could get lobster. The Lobster roll (got it without the bun but they offered to toast the roll….my fav if I could eat bread). It was very very good with lots of huge pieces and claws. It was pricy ($40) but everything is now a days. If I was local I would definately return. Service was great and fast as well.

Ordered the lobster roll – asked for it with mayonnaise/butter – paid $30 with the tip. Opened it up at home – didn’t even come with fries though advertised with fries, lobster was completely dry and without butter or mayo. Made my own mayo/butter and coated. The one plus was that the meat portion was very fair but everything else was a let down. It was worth a try. Not sure if operating with highschool kids is always the best business venture if orders are messed up like McDonald’s

Looks delicious but unfortunately tasted very fishy. Could not even eat it, called them and they said “well it’s fresh from today so there’s nothing wrong with it.” Also charged $47, apparently should be $35 for the lobster roll and $5 for fries. Fries were good, but not for that price.

Hard shell, soft shell. Three years ago, I bought four ‘hard’ shell lobsters. It turned out that two of them were actually soft shells. Today, I gave them another chance, told the man, and paid a ‘hard’ shell price of $12.50/pound. I just found out it is a soft-shell lobster. The claws could be blended and broken by hands.
I’m very disappointed. It seems honesty is an issue for this place. I will never buy anything from this place again.

We found this unassuming gem on our way to Acadia from Portland. We were hungry for lunch and this came up as a 10 minute detour on the map. The ten minutes seemed to take forever and once we got there, there was another wait for the food to be cooked. I was looking for a lobster roll but they call it a lobster salad if you want the mayo-based and a clear meat roll with melted butter if you ask for it. This was ok but I think the hamburger bun detracted from the experience. However, the real highlight was the sea scallop boat. It was a tray of large sweet and juicy scallops with some thick cut fries. The scallops were the best I had the whole trip and in a very long time, maybe ever. The fries were also good: crispy and had a good ratio of potato to surface area. This is worth the detour and may become a permanent stop when we visit Acadia.

Love this lil shack! Amazing clear lobster rolls is all I’ve had several times @ market price reasonable. Limited outdoor seating with 3 picnic tables under cover & other tables & chairs around. Drinks are $3.00 out of a soda machine so I’d suggest BYOB.

No word of a lie, this is THE best lobster I have ever had! It’s the most unassuming place – literally just an outdoor seafood stand. I ordered the “Shore Dinnah” which is a whole lobster, clams, and corn on the cob. They put it all in a net bag, put it outside in the steamer, and 20 minutes later, you have an unbelievable meal! All shore dinners are made to order, but other menu items are readily available. We also had fried clams, scallops, and a lobster roll – all delicious! So authentically good, and so glad to support a local small business. The staff were all very young when we were there, and super courteous and hard-working. Made us wonder if they were family because it’s really hard to find people who care that much. We stopped here on a whim, and it ended up being one of the best meals ever! They’re open year round, so we’ll definitely be back.
