Food was good over all. I ordered a breakfast burrito which only choice it says is chorizo . I did read it was their own blend of chorizo. But sadly it tastes more like philly steak and cheese then chorizo. I wasn’t much for it. Bell peppers and onions. Orange was good and hubby like his food.

Decided to try something new and glad we did! This place was busy when we went so they must be doing something right. My boyfriend and I went for lunch to get out of the house. Our server was the sweetest girl and I wish I got her name. It seems like they have a lot of regulars. The food was good and it was overall a very pleasant experience!

We were there for lunch for the second time on Tuesday, and needless to say, we will not be going back. This is now the second time we have been in, the first time on a Saturday, and it has been absolutely atrocious. The food is fine, but it’s like being the star of a live action training video of what not to do as a server. We sat down at the table and the table had to be wiped because it was dirty. You look around and it’s like most of the tables are left dirty and dishes are just left piled on the table instead of being taken away. We had a hard time getting drink refills and it wasn’t that busy. They had two servers and it’s like nobody knew what they were doing, and they look unkempt. That’s not who I really want bringing my food to begin with. When we left everything was on the table, dirty plates, dirty silverware, dirty glasses, dirty napkins, which was similar to a lot of other tables. That is an absolute turn off, and after two similar experiences, we won’t be back. I can truly understand why there weren’t a lot of customers, I absolutely would not recommend without some serious improvements being made.

Jim’s Grill is nice diner, serving mostly breakfast and lunch dishes. Service is prompt and friendly. Good place for meeting friends for a meal.

My next destination of the Foodie quest takes me once again to the city of Cedarburg, Wi. This time we had an opportunity to dine in at Jim’s Grille. It was a laid back place that let us chose where we wanted to sit.
Wonton Pepper jack sticks were a nice twist on the classic mozzarella, with a nice crispy exterior and creamy pepper jack cheese on the inside.
Combo plate the broccoli cheddar bites were nice and warm and the chicken tenders were very crispy. Those were amazing. However the last item the crispy onion strings were a generous portion, albeit a little tepid. They rewarmed it and it was still good.
Southwest steak wrap with an herb tortilla was amazing and juicy with a small kick of spice. It was warm and a bit zesty. The herb tortilla brought in more flavor to the dish.
The chicken club wrap was amazing and was packed like a Tetris game lol! Everything inside was extremely flavorful, from the tender chicken to all the other stuff included it was an easy 4 star meal!
These wraps came with chips normally, I’m wondering why there is an upcharge for fries when a good chunk of people would prefer them instead. Overall it was a pretty good experience with a nice take on some classics.

This place is a gem off the Main Street in cedarburg. It’s roots date back to where this place was riches before Jim’s. A must stop in the town of Cedarburg. Make sure to get french fries!!!
