I recently visited Ha Noi Pho on Union Street for my first ever Vietnamese food experience and I’m so glad I did.

The place has such a lively yet comfortable vibe. The décor is colourful and eye catching, but it still feels relaxed enough to just sit back and enjoy your meal. Walking in, I was genuinely excited about how the flavours would be. Being Indian, I naturally gravitate towards bold, punchy tastes. So I was hoping it wouldn’t be bland.

I ordered the Stir-Fried Chicken Pho, and honestly, it was a pleasant surprise. It had this gentle sweetness that worked really well with the fresh veggies and tender chicken. Nothing overpowering, just nicely balanced. Once I added some chilli paste and a bit of black pepper, it completely levelled up the dish and gave it that little spicy kick I personally love.

The fresh herbs, the mix of textures, and the overall flavour just made the whole experience memorable. If you’re in Glasgow and thinking of trying something different but still full of flavour, I’d definitely say give this place a shot. It’s a great introduction to Vietnamese cuisine.

Been here a few times and will always come back. Best Pho I’ve had by far, so fresh and delicious with a big portion size. Fast and super friendly service at a great price. Each table has extras with garlic and bamboo shoots, each pho comes with add ins for your own taste.
Highly recommend.

Had a great dinner here celebrating my birthday. Authentic Vietnamese food with reasonable prices. Better then some restaurants I had in Vietnam to be honest. There were 11 big prawns in my fried rice!
So glad to have such a fantastic place to dine in Glasgow. A hidden gem really.

Authentic Vietnamese food freshly made. Generous portions. Great herby spicy flavours.
Vermicelli fish pho was fantastic with fried fish cake and fish pieces and plenty of veg.
A great find near the train station

Wasnt busy on a Thur dinner. The pbo has a less heavy texture for the soup base which is nice if you want something lighter. The starter were brilliant. Its on second floor.

Swing by for a quick lunch, and it was absolutely worth the visit! I had the Bun Ca and a hot coconut coffee, which both were phenomenal. The very first sip of the Bun Ca broth instantly reminded me of the authentic flavours I grew up with. The hot coconut coffee was comforting too, a perfect way to finish off the meal. The atmosphere was lovely, and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.

A real great authentic Vietnamese place. I love Vietnamese food and this would rank top 5 on my restaurant list. The Goi Con as appetizers were amazing. The salmon Bun Ca delicious and the Vietnamese coffee you cannot find anywhere. Great staff as well, great view from the booths next to the windows (make sure to reserve one of those if you’re visiting).

Hà Nội Pho is one of the BEST Vietnamese restaurant in town!! For starters, we ordered summer rolls and the sauce on the side was probably the best roll sauce I’ve ever had. It was so good that I even used it with the leftover beef in my pho! We also ordered the flanked beef pho and it did not disappoint. The portion of the pho is big, with a generous amount of beef! We loved it!
The Vietnamese coffee was a bit sweet though. But needless to say, Hà Nội Pho definitely serves high quality food with great service.

Overall not bad, but the prices for starters are inflated
Pho soup is very good, very meaty and authentic flavour.
I ordered a fish cake as a starter, when it was served, it didn’t match the size of the picture, it was £6.99 for 3 pieces, it looked big in the picture.
In terms of service, I stood at the door for a long time but no one came to greet me and tell me where to sit, which is not very satisfactory.
