I was very concerned due to looking at prior reviews. But, the food was GOOD. So was the service. Portion size was large. Everyone in our group got at least another meal out of their portion. The only reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars was because the linguine with clam sauce had some broken pieces of shells in it and the olive oil for dipping wasn’t EVOO.

The food was great. I ordered the rice ball which ended up being my favorite, and the alla Pompei was absolutely delicious. Alana was our server and she was amazing. She really made the experience even better.

Had Makayla as our server and she was absolutely delightful and friendly. I had the fettuccine alfredo my friends had the baked ziti and we also had meatballs and lasagna. The food was fresh and delicious! A must go to if you’re in the area

A couple of years ago we got stale pizza and said we’ll never go back! Someone told us the place was under new management? So we tried our luck with The pizza and guess what!!!! It was burnt and smelt like seafood as you bit into it! Sorry but we thru it out. And it was the same owners!

$30 for one of the saddest meatball pies I have ever had. It has completely gone downhill from what it used to be. Domino’s serves better pizza at this point. Only a matter of time before this establishment becomes just another vacant building.

We had a great waitress named Kimberly who was quick and knowledgeable .the food was delicious and the portions were huge . If you are in rocky point and want a good meal. Go to Pompeii’s you won’t be disappointed I recommend the eggplant rolatini

Yesterday was so much fun. My life came full circle and I got to chaperone a field trip to Pompeii Pizzeria !!!
 I actually had the letter of working at this establishment many many moons ago! Vinny Vincent-Catherine Prestigiacomo does this field trip at no cost to the parents and opens the restaurant four hours so he could teach 21st graders how to make a pizza!!!
Each kiddo received a Pompei T-shirt so they didn’t get their clothes messy. They’re very own mini pizza box with their name on it and somebody took a great deal of time cutting pepperoni in each child’s initials so that they were sure to get the exact pizza that they made.
 if you use Pompei for your regular go to Friday night Pizza you need to because this is a family establishment that gives back to the community and has hands-down the best pizza not to mention rice balls!

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. The pizza that was out on the counter looked like it had been from when they first opened, dry and disgusting. When the rude grumpy bald man went to ring me up he asks “cash or card” i let him know i’m
paying by card and he motions for me to tap the card reader. I ask him “is the total $82??” (i only got two slices) and he abruptly throws up his arms and starts yelling at another female there who must of left an order in the system and didn’t cash out. It is extremely disappointing seeing the way the bald man conducted himself.If you do choose to visit this location; be sure to get an itemized receipt and don’t expect any common courtesy from the counter staff. 0/5 stars !

Drove all the way home looking forward to a good pizza only to see it was overcooked with a black crust. This has happened in the past but we figured we’d give it another try. Very disappointed. Will not be enjoying pizza tonight.
