The service was very kind, answered all our questions, they have several service people that take care of different needs during your mea there. They have thought out their business very well and the food is absolutely delicious. We had 3 courses… spring rolls, the Indian curry dish and naan, and dessert. Everything is made from scratch. Recommend experiencing Indian food.

And I ordered the new naan with coconut and raisins which complemented my curry perfecty.

I wish we’d found this place sooner! We’ve come for lunch twice recently, and both times it was fantastic. The food was delicious and service was friendly and attentive. This most recent time we had lamb josh and lamb palak and both were soo good. The vegetable pakora are also delicious. I’m not sure if there is a kid’s menu, we didn’t see one in the menu we were given (and didn’t ask), but our boy was happy to share what we had and the servings were big enough to allow for that. We live in Iowa but it’s definitely worth the hour+ drive to come here for great Indian food, looking forward to coming again next time 🙂

I honestly can’t say enough about the India Palace in Mankato, Mn!! They greet us with a friendly face, seat us quickly and are attentive! The food? This food should be served at any world negotiations as it is true comfort food instilling a sense of calm. The dishes are large, well priced and beyond words for favor! You just can’t go wrong here as they have all levels of spice and many different dishes to choose from!

100/10 Experience – A Must-Visit in Minnesota!

I’m not native to Minnesota, so I’ve been trying different restaurants during my visit before heading back home to Texas. As a very picky eater, I was genuinely impressed with this place! The waiter was incredibly respectful and kind—constantly checking in to make sure I was okay throughout my meal.

The gentleman who took my order (I wish I had gotten his name!) was so patient and intentional, making sure everything was exactly right. My food came out quickly, was warm, and absolutely delicious. I knew right away I was going to bring the rest home with me!

100/10 would absolutely return the next time I’m in Minnesota. Stellar food and top-tier service!

We were shopping in Mankato and stopped here for lunch. We were greeted when we arrived. It was disappointing that I had to twice find a staff member to order our food and to pay for our meal. There were only two other parties in the restaurant. Although the meal did arrive quickly. The staff did check on us once, but never refilled our water. When we tried to pay for our meal, the waitress hands us a credit card machine with the total on it. She seemed annoyed when I asked for an itemized receipt.

The food was average. Although in our opinion it is overpriced from the amount of food we received. My son had the most expensive meal but the least amount quantity. I am not sure if this is because he is a child. There was no children menu for him. Although my wife’s wrap was delicious.

Overall we do not recommend this restaurant.

Love eating at this restaurant. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and in a great location ! I have been a repeat customer here and have yet to have a poor experience with the quality of food, service or cleanliness of the restaurant. I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian food, is adventurous in there food options, or anyone looking to break away from the generic pizza or burger meals you can get anywhere.

The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my request for a spoon and plate was not fulfilled. I specifically mentioned it in my order, and it made eating a bit inconvenient. It would be great if the restaurant could pay closer attention to special instructions in the future.

I have ordered lamb boti kebab, it was tasty but the meat was not soft enough. Also ordered pashwari naan, which was best. This place will give you the vibe of north india-punjab. There are so many vegeterian options that you may like. The service providers are hospitable, but need more smile in their face.

I posted earlier about the owners keeping tips. The owner claimed I was mistaking. No I am not . But nice try owner. I waited for a while before I posted this, in case of retaliation. I also asked a few employees, as I ate here more than once. So blaming the customer is not the answer. I am not mistaking about this being the wrong restaurant either. I am an adult, and know my way around town. Your negative response will make sure I won’t return. Good job! To conclude this situation. I do not get paid for anything. The bulk of my reviews are positive. You have no business telling me how I need to review your business. Your answer is to harass me into changing my review. It won’t work. Family run or not, wrong is wrong. You are wrong in many directions. Now your making it worse for you. This shows exactly how you have no positive way to deal with customers. No worries from me, I can eat Indian food in many places. But it will never be yours. I would hope that you put your energy into solving your issues, Instead of telling customers they are wrong, and assuming they get paid to ruin you. I don’t get a penny. This is just my honest opinion. I did my research before I spoke. Maybe you should concentrate on taking classes for customer relations, and problem solving. Best of luck!
