Since April 19, 2025, The Snake and Apple has been a community and traveler favorite, serving up fresh, seasonal fare and craft cocktails. Located on the Eden trailhead of the VASA trail system, it’s the perfect spot to refuel after a day of adventure. Guests can expect a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, where daily specials highlight local beef and other regional ingredients. Join us on Wednesday nights for Trivia and weekly Taco Specials. We highly recommend reservations for parties of five or more.

A great addition to the location!!! We had dinner and everything was very good. Service was nice and helpful. Food was tasty and fresh. The burger choices were outstanding love using local meats! I had the country fried steak and it was great. Hardy and fulfilling. Cosy and clean a locals favorite spot for sure. We will return! Prices a bit hight but we support the local community!

A cozy quiet place with one the best burgers in the area. Fresh, local beef from Brault Butchers, perfectly seasoned and their meat is never frozen. Currently having a discounted Thirsty Thursday Pink Starburst drink (sweet and strong) and the Brault Burger with fries and Chipotle Mayo. Two bites in and a five star review was warranted.
Super friendly staff, Savanna and Holly make for great conversation and make the whole experience fun. Trivia nights on Wednesdays! This place seriously deserves more attention.

We visited all the way from Birmingham, Al. The food was delicious. The service was great. The restaurant was adorably decorated. Restrooms extremely clean. Prices reasonable and delicious drinks. 100% recommend. The cutest spot to dine in Eden!

Great selection of local craft beers and a lot of farm to table offerings. There are places that stand out above all the rest, this is that type of place. Seviah, is a great bartender who has a lots of energy. We felt like she became a friend in the two days we visited the restaurant. The food is spot on, and I love the overall feel of this establishment. Thank you for such a great evening of fun and great food. We will be coming back!

This is a great local dining option. Menu provides a nice variety of choices for all diets, clearly labeled. While I often struggle to find any vegan options in most restaurants, perhaps one option in some, The Snake and Apple actually has three clearly labeled choices, plus additional vegetarian choices. So far I’ve had the black bean burger and Vermont Tofu Stir-Fry and would highly recommend both, even to non-vegan diners. You won’t be disappointed.

My family and I had a superb experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was hot and came out in a timely manner. Not to mention, Holly was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. P.S. The homemade carrot cake is one of the best we have had!

Cocktails were ok, nothing that really stood out. Something on tap for all beer drinkers.
Kids menu was great, and the price was super reasonable.
Our waiter, was friendly and efficient.

We stopped here after traveling to Jay on our way back to Williston. The atmosphere was great—simple, clean, and disability accessible. The menu had lots of options.
My partner didn’t love the cut of prime rib he ordered, but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. The waitress and another person came out to check in, and he ended up ordering the house fries, which he really enjoyed.
As for me, I had the vegetarian coconut tofu curry with spinach and broccoli—it was absolutely delicious, and I ate the whole thing!
Overall, the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the food was solid. Highly recommend!
