Vittles in Lincolnton is truly a delight and can be considered as one of the top dining places in town without much effort. The friendly smiles and the great feeling of southern hospitality that welcomes you in the very moment of your arrival make you feel absolutely comfortable. The surroundings are simple and warm, a nice, neat place that is suitable for the company of a family, friends or even a casual date night.
The food here is excellent to the point where you can hardly say anywhere else. Each meal is done perfectly, bursting with flavor, and it is very obvious that it was made with a loving heart. No matter the bite, you can feel the freshness, whether it is from the meats that are seasoned to the perfection, the sides that are filling, or the desserts that are just right in terms of sweetness and comfort. The amount of food that you get is more than enough, thus making you leave with a full stomach and the prices are even lower than what you would expect for the quality and quantity you get.
What really sets Vittles apart, though, is the service. The employees are extremely friendly and they can do everything to make you feel treasured as a customer. Beverages are filled up without delay, dishes are brought hot and the servers are always around with a smile to check on you. My girlfriend and I went here and it was beyond our expectations, I mean simply by far the best place I’ve eaten at in a while when it came to casual sit down eating. When we walked in everything was perfect from the owner greeting us as soon as we walked in the door to us just taking our time and looking over the menu ( it was our first time here) he was very patient and understanding with us any and all questions they were asked or answered in the most professional and courteous way possible.
And when the food came, it was way beyond our expectations. You definitely get your moneys worth I couldn’t have asked for better. I felt like I was literally about to starve when I walked in and I almost couldn’t finish my burger because it was so big everything was cooked to perfection . I highly recommend if anyone has the money and the time to really check these people out they are the real deal.

So I live in Lincolnton for over 5 years and I finally decided to try vittles today and I got their wing special And I ordered it as soon as they opened up. So I assume my wings are going to be fresh and hot and crispy. They were not hot. They were definitely stale and they were dry and I even tried to dip it in the ranch dressing and it still had a stale taste to it. I eat wings if I don’t eat nothing else so I know when wings are good and when they’re not and unfortunately these were not good at all. I’m very disappointed because I was so excited to finally get a chance to try them. So I am replying to your message. First of all I had plain wings. No sauce. Also, it wasn’t just my wings that weren’t good. The other orders that I picked up they complained about there wings as well. I’m just the only one that made it Google report but it was first thing in the morning. Y’all had just opened so there was no excuse for stale l wings. I didn’t take 45 minutes to come And pick them up. I wouldn’t want no wings thats been sitting for 45 minutes first of all. So therefore I know I didn’t pick them up 45 minutes later And regardless of how many orders I picked up or whether it has salts on it or not, all that is irrelevant. They tasted stale. They were plain fried wings, no sauce so it wasn’t the sauce manipulating The taste. It was the actual taste of the wings. Either the grease was dirty or the chicken was stale one of the two

Mostly younger staff, and I’ve seen a few come and go, but they are always courteous. Sometimes, they get extremely busy here, but even then, the staff is always outgoing and friendly. The big country burger is a standard for me, a thick piece of fried bologna on a cheeseburger is something you didn’t know you needed until you try it. This spot is even better in good weather, outdoor seating and live music happen then. You CAN’T beat the pitcher of beer price.

First time visiting, I had the Cheesy Pig with a side of Zuchnni Fries and the dude had a grilled chicken sandwhich with the Homestyle Chips. All was very good and I can’t wait to try more! Only compliant is everytime I call to try to place a to go order, I can never seem to get anyone to answer. Other than that, fantastic so far!

Vittles is a great addition to Lincolnton. Everything is fresh and the produce used in the restaurant comes from the General Store next door. The food is great, prices are reasonable, and it’s a family friendly spot where lots of locals like to hang out. To the people who left 1-2 star reviews here: not every place you go eat is perfect. Give it another chance, and if you still don’t approve, they sell all the ingredients at Burton Farms General Store – you can try to make it yourself! If you ever see the Tater Digger on special, try it! You won’t be disappointed! The Redneck Medley (fried squash, fried green tomatoes, & fried okra) with ranch and the onion petal horseradish sauce is AMAZING! Big Tom’s BBQ is the BEST you will ever eat. And try the seasonal fruit bowl – fresh local fruit from the General Store. It’s an all around great place!

Use to be great. But not today. First, I go for the best zucchini fries in town. Today I was told they didn’t have any fresh produce like zucchini and squash. No excuse or answer why. So ordered fries and a sandwich. When I went to pay it asked for a tip up front. I tipped. But other than bringing me my food to the table I didn’t see any service. What is the tip for. The fries were burnt. We cleaned our table off. Not a good experience.

The food was good but we waited way too long for a very simple order. Not to mention it was a Thursday evening and not very busy. When it finally did arrive, there were items missing. The employees seemed to care more about socializing rather than getting orders out. They were on their phones and walking in and out of the building to hang out with the group sitting out front. Combine that with their sanitation rating of 96 and it’s just not really worth it for a cheeseburger. If all you’re looking for is a nice place to sit for a beer and hang out, then this is the perfect place but it’s definitely not somewhere I will be taking my family for dinner again.

All I have to say is $30 is expensive for just 3 burgers and 1 hot dog. That does include any drinks or anything our first and last time. It also took one hour for our food to be ready. I get they were busy but it shouldn’t take an hour plus ..When we got our food it was Not Hot or warm !!! Why did we wait an hour to get our food when it wasn’t warm at all !
