I had a great experience here on Wednesday. The custard ice cream was good! The flavor that I got was Monkey Business. It was one of their flavors of the day but, the reason why I’m only giving Meadows here in Indiana 4 stars, even though I’ve been here many times, and the experiences have all been 5 stars, is because I was given the wrong thing. Instead of banana flavored ice cream, I got vanilla flavored ice cream. I was very disappointed. Hopefully, next time, I will get what I ordered….

It’s fun checking the calendar to see if your favorite flavor is being served that day or when to plan ahead. I enjoy the other frozen treats such as the apple dumplings, turtles, etc. The custard is so smooth and creamy. Great treat on those hot and humid days.

UPDATE: I hate to do it, but I had to lower the stars The custard itself is still creamy and has good flavor. But towards fall of 2022 and as of today, it’s gone down hill. For instance, when I get the flavor of the day, there’s virtually no other ingredients. Like last time I got the peanut butter Oreo, I went home and put Oreos in myself because there was none in my cup. When I got the cookie sundae, I got it without whip cream, that way your not getting just filler. I literally had like 3 small bites of custard. The rest was a pool of hot fudge. The last brownie sundae I got was similar, and the brownie itself seemed like it wasn’t baked. This used to be one of my favorite places to go, but not so much anymore.
ORIGINAL: The custard is so yummy. The people who work there are always so friendly. And the best part is, they don’t skimp on the amount!! If you love good quality ice cream, you gotta try this.

I live in this town, and my family has come to this location a few times. I don’t like the service, nor the congested parking lot, with minimal lighting. It’s way too expensive. I prefer to go to the original Meadows in Hollidaysburg, or New Alexandria. The staff is much friendlier, and the quality is much better.

It’s okay. Not my cup of tea, but not bad. I do like all the options. The hot fudge is good, sometimes I’ll get a brownie with it. It’s nice around Christmas they allow someone to sell their Christmas trees from their farm. Fresh cut too, and the trees are fir. Different trees every year. Price is reasonable, and your supporting a local.
