We visited tonight, looking for dinner pretty late. We got there right at 9pm when the kitchen closed but JD was amazing and took our order anyway!
We had a great time, food was delicious and timely, beers were cold, atmosphere was nice, and service was fantastic.

We stopped at Roos for Friday night Fish. The coleslaw was outstanding (10/10), onion rings were delicious (9.5/10), the beer was served cold, the fish was good but not spectacular (7/10), the service was great (10/10), so friendly. A few patrons were really loud, but that can be expected at a bar from time to time. I’d definitely return. The pizza looked very good, although that was on looks alone.

My sister and I drove from Southern Indiana to Cable Wisconsin to visit our brother first night on our arrival my brother took us to Roo’s Bar and Grill we had such a wonderful time. The bartender was so awesome and the food was great. We will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for showing us Indiana people a good time.

Great burgers, decent fish fry, servers and bartenders give fast good service. Soups and chili homemade. Chef Tommy cookin up specials! Fair prices. Cash or check only, no cards. Game is on. Friendly bar dogs.

We had a great experience tonight at Roos. Around here it can be tough to find good service and with the two guys on staff tonight at Roos service was 10/10! They were friendly and working so hard to make sure everyone had what they needed.
We had cheese curds, the grilled chicken sandwich, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and California burger – each with a different side and everything was really good. They even had a nice white wine! We will be making this a regular spot for our family!
They had a highchair as well and it was nice and clean (always a good sign!)
Oh and Charlie, the bar dog, played hide and seek with our toddler around the pool table and it was adorable. Just all around good vibes and run by good people!

I wish I would have taken a pic of my husband’s cod sandwich and fried chips, but he ATE it so quickly! Delicious. I stole a bite as well. These are my leftover wings and pretzel bites. Mmmm. Shameful I didn’t grab a photo sooner. Ha! Not to mention an excellent hostess, a pup named Charli.

Stopped for some drinks Saturday afternoon. Busy place but you will not have to wait for great service. The owner and bartenders know how to sling drinks.
Will definitely be back next time in the area.

We stopped in for their Inaugural Fish Fry tonight and had a great meal!! The cod was tasty and freshly fried to order. I got a huge portion of crispy French fries and hubby had delicious onion rings. Food came with sides (potato salad or coleslaw) and toast besides.
We love their burgers as well!
The place is spacious and spotless with Up North hunting and fishing artifacts and decor. You can play pool or the usual bar games.
Our server was prompt and friendly. The owners are actively engaged in their family business. They are a young couple expecting their first child We love supporting local businesses like Roo’s!
