Au déjeuner, du mercredi au samedi, nous proposons une formule à 39 € ou un menu « à la carte ». Le soir et le dimanche midi, découvrez nos menus dégustation : le « Menu Banquet » à 55 € ou le « Grand Banquet » à 90 €, incluant notre spécialité : le homard flambé sur table au calvados. I can’t remember going to a restaurant where there is so much love for the craft – from sourcing local ingredients, to presentation, to being engaged with us individually and personally
We got the set menu, which included pigeon for the non-vegetarian meal, and a cold noodle soup for the vegetarian, both of which were amazing. The flavours in the pigeon dish took me back 25 years to my mom’s home cooking
Plenty of delicious bread was brought to the table, and after a delicious creme brulee we sampled a range of local cheeses
Sitting outside, enjoying some of the landscape after our meal, we were offered Calvados, an apple-derived spirit. It’s hard to say no to the charming owner – delicious fruity flavours, reminiscent of an Irish whiskey, presented in a novel glass vessel; an elegant ending to an unusually welcoming experience

This was an amazing experience from the minute we arrived until we left. Best meal in Normandy hands down. We ate lunch outside with a beautiful water view. It’s a pre fix menu.The meal was so special-every course was great and we also added a cheese course which was amazing too.We ordered cider to start and then switched to wine-both recommended by the owner and were wonderful. The presentation and taste of everything was off the chain! Everyone was friendly and the place exudes French charm. If you are going to Utah beach, make time for Chez Roger. It will be truly memorable and probably the best meal you’ll have in Normandy.

This was truly one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had!. The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is very friendly and feels like a warm home. They were so nice to us, including our children. Every item on the prix fixe menu dazzles, including the handpicked cheese course featuring local cheeses. I wish I could rate higher than five stars. If you want an incredible meal and experience in Normandy, you should definitely come here.

Wow, a sophisticated palate, each plate, refined, delicate, and delicious. If you’re going to have a last meal, this should be it. Let yourself be surprised by the creativity of the kitchen, and you won’t be disappointed. This will be a must visit every time I’m in the neighbourhood. The establishment is romantic and cosy, the menu changes every day, and I recommend you make a reservation so you won’t miss out.

Unique restaurant on the sea. There are only 2 menus, the lobster menu or the suprise menu. The whole table has to have the same menu. We went for the lobster and it was perfectly cooked and flambé with local calvados at the table. The staff were very knowledgeable and informative. A special lunch for a special birthday. I would definitely go back.

Wow wow wow!! Where do I begin? I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chez Roger. We were visiting Utah Beach when we realized it was lunch time and the closest, open place was Chez Roger. We drove 9 minutes down the road and arrived at this charming house on the sea. We were greeted by Ton Ton, the Bernese Mountain Dog, who belongs to Rafael. Our server, Rafael, welcomed us in, spoke PERFECT English, and offered us the two seats at the bar. He informed us that the chef chooses the menu, and helped us pick a great wine to go with the meal. We had three EXCELLENT courses and a wonderful time. Chez Roger truly feels like a hidden gem in Normandie and it is a MUST VISIT. Thank you to the entire team for welcoming us in!!! We love you, Chez Roger!!!!

What a marvelous evening. We were squeezed in to sit at the bar as they were full and I am so glad that we managed to make it. The staff were so welcoming, and then you come to the food. I have been very lucky to eat in some very fine restaurants including some with 3 stars, but the guys in the kitchen were fantastic with carefully chosen and perfectly matched combinations with an emphasis on local produce. Really excellent stuff.
Some housekeeping, you must book, you cannot turn up on spec. Secondly, the hours are not as stated here, so better to get in touch and check. They currently had no internet so cash only at the moment, though I am sure this will change.

Chez Roger is a true gem of Normandy. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun. This is our second time, and all came specifically to enjoy this meal.

This is the favorite restaurant of my husband’s cousin, she is a regular here…and honestly, she likes to eat well and has good taste! Mostly fish on the menu, I prefer beef…but my choice was delicious! I recommend!
