This place was some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. It was just as good as what I had in Chinatown. The prices were excellent for the amount of food and the portions were great. The food came out in a good amount of time and since it was lunch, we got a great deal. The flavor for both the general tsos, crab rangoons, and egg rolls were amazing. We ate in and the cashier was a good host. Everything was clean enough and they even have snacks/drinks for purchase. Definitely would go again if I was a local.

Lunch special Orange Chicken. The chicken was crispy and fresh. The sauce was tangy yet contained a heat that built up nicely throughout my meal. Not an abundance of broccoli but a nice touch. The strips of orange zest were a delightful surprise! The egg roll was cooked to my liking and the ingredients were fresh and not mushy. The large scoop of brown rice was a little dry but paired with the orange sauce well. Best Chinese I’ve had in Asheboro by far! A filling lunch for $10.

I came here after working an extremely long shift to pick up dinner since it was too late to cook. I ordered on the phone at 7:08 pm and was told it would be a twenty minute wait. I arrive at 7:26 and pay for my food and the front host told me it would be just a few more minutes which I didn’t mind. Well 7:40 rolls around….. then 7:50… then 7:55 and I still don’t have my order as well as no update of when it would be ready. I finally get my food at 7:58.. 30 minutes past the time I was told it would be ready. I walk out with my food then I go in the car to check it. I had 2 combination specials and a separate order of BBQ wings. When I checked the bag I was missing an egg roll and two wings from my order. No problem! I simply go back in and let the front hostess know that I had a couple things missing from my order. So she pulls out the receipt and says it’s not on the ticket….. I told her I know exactly what I ordered and that the woman taking the order even read it back to me. They claim that I had only ordered 1 combination special and a 6 piece wing… As you can see from their menu they only have an 8 piece wing and that each combination special comes with an egg roll. Mind you, I’ve been coming here for an EXTREMELY long time and I let them know that this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue and I can understand things happen especially since they were busy. The host says she will get the manager to clear things up but instead of the manager herself coming out, she sends her underage daughter out to speak with me. She says “my mom says or new ordering operator has been acting up and she’s sorry for the mix up, but you will have to pay for the items missing from your order.” …what?!?? Why would I pay for the items y’all forgot to put in my bag.
To make an already long story short, I told them they could have all their food back and I want my refund. After paying y’all 45 damn dollars y’all have the nerve to try and get more money from me?! Absolutely not! It took about 15 minutes of going back and forth of them trying to hustle me and keep my money. So in all I spent almost an hour and a half here for NOTHING! I’m floored that they would let an eggroll and a few wings missing from an order prompt them to lose a customer. They need some classes and their head examined for how they treat their customers and letting A CHILD handle business. I honestly feel sorry for the little girl. Will never EVER be back. Do yourself a favor and save your money and the headache you’ll get from going here. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

I think I know good Chinese food, I’m from Brooklyn. This is among the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Fresh and good quality and each dish and sauce unique. Triple delight is fantastic as is chicken and broccoli. Be prepared to wait as food is obviously made to order. Come to eat and not for atmosphere the place could use a makeover but the food rocks.

This is one of the best tasting Chinese places in NC! Just off the beaten path in Asheboro on the corner of a little shopping center, hidden from the road! Customer service is amazing ! The portions are huge ! Plates are Enough for lunch and dinner , the food is absolutely amazing , cooked perfectly! Recomend the 2 flavor chicken ,cantonese chicken ,steak hibachi, Crab Ragoon , fried calamari and fried dumplings!!! Dumpling garlic/soy sauce is absolutely delicious!! Anything you order will be delicious! I’d gladly drive the hour trip one way for this amazing food!

I would definitely recommend you give Golden Garden a try. It is a little hidden gem packed with so much flavor. For the price you do get a large amount of food. The crab Rangoons and steamed dumplings are some of the best I’ve tried. Schezwan Beef and General Tso’s are my go-to meals. The sesame chicken had a lot of flavor and highly rated, so we tried, and it was delicious. I have not been disappointed with anything I have tried yet. They do offer a sit-down area with booths and tables. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions.
