Food was good and service is the same to be expected. I came with my family of 6 total and the slapped us with a gratuity charge of 15%. Ducking ridiculous, that charge should only be for groups of 8 or more. Wanted to say this was a cute place but with forcing a tip down my throat just leaves me a bad taste. Thank god i live 2 hours from here cause i wont be coming back for anything.

My brother and I had lunch at the China Buffet last week, and it was delicious as usual. The service is great, and friendly. Have been going to China Buffet for years now, and have never had a bad experience at all. I thank the owner and staff as I mention, and have recommended to everyone I know. I will be back there soon, I am sure. Thank you everyone at the Mount Vernon, China Buffet.

The China Buffet is one of the greatest buffets I have ever been to, especially in other States. I loved the Decor, this place has the glass artwork, the artwork on the walls, and the Decorations. I also like how it easy to get around the place from Tabled or booth to were the buffet is and how they have sign with words to tell What serving and what boo I also love how it’s so organized none of them touching and Like it how at the end there are plates bowls for anyone to put on food while looking down the ‘Buffet and see what’s available. The service is very good. I like it how for anyone. After showing you to a table first, they ordered your drinks, and then you can go and get your food. Plus, I also like it and how they will take your plates away and then also refill the drinks, and they are also very nice people. But the best part is the food. They have some Chinese food like dumplings, noodles, and chicken tenders. They also have salad, Macaroni and cheese, shrimp, potatoes, and soup, but the best part is in the dessert, they have cookie Fudge and, of course, ice cream. I love how they have many flavors of ice cream, even though you have to go and scoop it up by yourself, but you can get as much as anyone wants. They also bowl the ice cream to help. I like how they also take out, but you have to pick up because they do not do delivery, and you’ll have to order online or by phone. It’s still pretty good food, but there are just some food in there that just gives me a bad taste in my mouth, but the rest of it is still good. It is also a good place to be if you are in the area, and I have been many times, and it is.

Best Chinese Buffet ever! I really don’t know what the negative reviews are talking about. We have been going here since 2018 once every couple weeks. The food is always extremely hot and if the pans are empty they are great at getting more out soon. The food is so flavorful and the people running it are so nice. Not sure why it has taken me this long to leave a review but this is our only usual haunt.

Got there around 5:30 pm, empty pans. Very little brought out and most pans stayed empty. Was very little choice options to eat, and only found 2 to 3 things that tasted ok. Drove from over an hour away to go there, birthday, and was completely disappointed. Never again, lesson learned! Next!

Food is ok. There is, however, a very nice selection of dishes and desserts/fruit! The staff is always attentive and friendly. The building is very… old, outdated, and feels sticky and not real clean. I think it’s more the building itself needing updates and repairs. Probably beyond the staff’s control. Whoever owns the building needs to do an overhaul. Desperately needs a deep cleaning of carpets.

Worst Chinese buffet ever visited and family goes to a lot! Fried rice tasted burnt like or like a dirty pan. Overpriced for what you get. Went for dinner they had no fish, salad or extras like sushi. When I mentioned the price vs options worker said they are Chinese thats why no sushi. I understand this but I haven’t been to a Chinese buffet across the country that does not offer it as an option especially at the price this place charges. Besides missing items most of what they offer is sub-par. Workers only told me go to other buffets then. Of course we will, and pay the higher price when you get something for it.

Always a nice stop on a trip to Mt. Vernon. Very tasty hot fresh food. My favorites are the string beans, sauted whole mushrooms, sauted zucchinni, general tso’s chicken and hibachi chicken on a stick. Wide variety of menu items refreshed often. Always plenty of seating, never a wait and great table service. Good for groups of friends, casual and family friendly.
