A solid 4.5 stars in my book, food is very good, portions are generous. The authentic Caesar salad dressing (a bit on the salty side) nothing to do with what tourists are used to….. Only down side is that it is a bit pricey but otherwise definitely a restaurant worthwhile!

Great place to eat!! We had a private dinner with family after a very rough day. They took us last minute on a Wednesday night. We had pretty much the place to ourselves. The food was fantastic. Service was great!! Really awesome place to go!

I had the D’italiano pizza . It was mediocre at best and I blame it mainly at the sauce that tastes like it’s out of a can. The service was polite but waiters have zero experience or management has no clue what they are doing. There was a DJ playing music and that is the only thing I’d give 5 stars. Great choice of music for the atmosphere of the restaurant.

On my recent visit to Laval for a concert at Place Bell I had 2 great dinners at LaVita. I was travelling solo so sat at the bar and watched the hockey games. Got an opportunity to chat with Abby, one of the owners, and a super friendly guy.
The recommended Arancini appy and Pasta were great.
Space seems perfect for group get togethers. I hope to bring my family there soon on my next time in Montreal and try the Wood Fired Oven pizza.

It is a great restaurant. The decor is classic and well made. There is this very nice glass compartment where you can see the cook cut fresh pasta.

I went yesterday to the restaurant, and I had many types of ANTIPASTO, 2 types of PASTA and also the VEAL. I have to say the food was VERY GOOD. I’m very picky about food ,and I cook a lot, so i recognized when the food is good or not. The food yesterday was very good. 5 star
