Been following this shop for awhile on Instagram. We were on our yrly anniversary vacation in Harrisburg , so we toke the trip to York before we checked into the hotel. The sub had to weigh at least five pounds. You can not fit one of these subs in our mouth , you have to take side bites. Sub was well worth the 2 1/2 hr trip we made to finally try one . This sub blows White House Subs out of the water. The roll alone stood out , meats were perfect and the tomatoes were perfectly ripened. This was just a great sub. We ended up taking another with us for dinner that night

Wow!! Just wow!! Subs are huge! No shortage on the meat, that’s for sure! Fresh cut curly fries were amazing! Highly recommend and will be returning

Heft Lefty’s never disappoints. Everything here is amazing from the cheesesteaks to the Big Earl. I wait all year for November for the Thanksgiving Grinder! It’s the best around!

Now at Franklin Street Social in Red Lion. These guys are making some of the very best sandwiches money can buy. I’m serious, my wife and I love sandwiches and make great sandwiches at home… If I’m going out to get a sandwich, I’m going to Hefty Lefty’s, no doubt about it.

The subs here are incredible. Growing up outside of the greater Philadelphia area, I can say these subs are at the top of the list. The only complaint is they are not located in Lancaster, Pa.

Super long wait(over an hour )!!! They usually turn off online ordering but the system wasn’t letting them today so they were slammed. I wish they would have had a sign warning of an extra long wait today or something. That’s the only reason I took stars away. I got the Philly special with extra mayo and added pickles. Other sub is the Black Friday special with capicola added and banana peppers.
Edit- this place gets better the more subs you try. I got the chicken bacon ranch grinder (picture added) and it’s my favorite!

Wow, they know how to serve up some delicious hoagies! Best cheese steak I’ve had! The staff was super friendly and, despite the long line, the wait wasn’t too bad either. For those not familiar with the area, Hefty’s is located inside the Central Market.
