Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Here and it is immaculate. It’s by far the cleanest and most organized place around. Staff are always helpful as can be. Not a fan of all the religious stuff all over the walls but some people believe they need that, I guess.

I order my burger a very specific way. Mustard on the meat side & mayo on th3 veggie side of the bun. The wonderful lady at the counter made sure to give my instructions to the cooks in the back. The burger came out opposite of my instructions, so I had to send it back to be corrected. Once it was corrected, the food was wonderful. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.

Service is pretty rude most the time. And if you drive a decent sized truck good look getting the drive through sensors to notice you… I don’t have this issue ANYWHERE else but here. And they get so rude when you drive to the window to order when they skipped you with line 2 – 5 times in a row.
+1 star as it’s fairly quick for a whataburger but quality is fairly poor compared to the other metro locations.

Let me tell you that on Monday 4/28/2025 what a burger did an amazing job with everything not only was customer service five star review but even their mushrooms swiss burger was so delectable but juicy and fresh off the grill whoever was cooking this burger. They made it with love in their soul it was a delicious burger I didn’t want to stop eating it I got disappointed when I finished it oh my God my stomach was in heaven anyways I’m giving them five stars cause it shows how much effort they put into making it perfect for whoever orders it great job what a burger staff u are awesome

I visited a few nights ago and got a whataburger meal also ordered a brownie and a shake as well. The wait was absolutely crazy. When I got my food I looked in the bag to check I got everything before I left because it was late I just got off work and didn’t want to have to come back if anything and noticed I didn’t have my brownie the lady took my bag and checked through it with her bare hands at my car and then took my bag back inside and came out with my brownie now in bag. When I got home everything tasted good but when I was eating my burger half way through i noticed a bite I took had something else different i took it out and it was a big piece of plastic. I Immediately lost my appetite and took pictures and called the store the manager said she would replace my order and make it herself but I don’t want to eat there again. I want my money back and be done with it. I took pictures and videos its absolutely insane no telling if I actually ate any plastic and wasn’t aware. I don’t know if they got mad when I mentioned they forgot my brownie and put it there or if they actually made my burger with that in there. It was literally in the middle of my burger. I had my burger completely unwrapped and holding it eating it because i was hungry and there was nothing there but half way through there was a big piece of plastic…Disgusting. I also asked for no cheese and there was cheese. I will share pics and videos if I have to and post on every media. I am absolutely disappointed and Disgusted I will never be back at this location.

I don’t even care about how the food tastes, the short chunky woman with the eyebrow ring rolled her eyes just bringing the drinks out. She came back with our change with a rude attitude. As we were waiting for out food to come out, the chunky blonde at the drive thru window was rude to the customer in the drive thru. Then the older dark skined women was rude to the man that ordered breakfast at the switch time of lunch and breakfast. Just rude all the way around. The manager I’m assuming in the grey was sweet and was trying her best

The food is great. However this is a fairly new establishment so to see how poor the customer service was and how dirty the restaurant was is disappointing. Mya was the worker who took our order today and she was rude. She acted as if me being there ordering food was a huge inconvenience for her & could tell by her overall attitude that she did not want to be there. She sighed when I asked her to scant rewards app as well. Your food can be great but when you have poor customer service and a dirty establishment it doesn’t matter. The women’s bathroom has two stalls one is completely missing the seat and the other the flusher isn’t working. The men’s bathroom isn’t working and you could hear an employee telling another employee that there’s pee in the sink. The tables are dirty and all of the trash cans over flowing mean while workers just standing around.

Everything is clean and our food was great, but the service is very bad. Our cashier was openly rude, when we tried to use a coupon without knowing it was expired, she went “We don’t sell those anymore, they’re EXPIRED”. Also, the person who brought our food out asked if we wanted sauce, and when one of us asked for spicy ranch, she just walked away and didn’t say anything else. Stopped here on our way to Vegas. I was not disappointed at all. We caught them on a shift change and that’s what took the food a little bit longer than average to come out. But the burger at this location did not fail me. The restroom was clean!!
