We decided to place our order at the Mission St. store instead of holding true to the Clares St. store and our order was typical for us: a pair of hand-tossed medium pies with three toppings on each and cut into squares. All specified in our online order. How wrong could our choice be?
Our pies were neither on hand-tossed crusts nor were they cut into squares. This may seem trivial, but if you understand that we only order from Domino’s when we are babysitting, it would make sense. (We are feeding the kids!)
Calling the store (and we have called three different times!) to ask them to make good on their errors has been an exercise in futility; management has never addressed our issue. The one time I was able to hold a phone conversation with anyone at the store they only delivered a string of excuses and never followed through on their promises to alert management to our concerns and have them take responsibility for their mistakes.
We have learned our lesson on the very first time we deviated from the norm and tonight we are calling Clares Street because our voices are loudest when we speak with our dollars and sense. We wish the Mission St. store the best of luck.

Listen Domino’s is a great easy option but why go to Domino’s when you can you can to the local pizza place D20 down the street? They have tons of space to hang out, board games, and a general cool vibe. Support your local businesses!!!

And if you want to bother someone about this, please email the city of Santa Cruz and give them a hard time about the hypocrisy of wanting the city to have a local-business, small-town vibe while also approving a corporate pizza chain when a small business just opened down the street. It’s great to have options but it makes no sense to have 2 pizza places so close to each other.

They’ve just opened their new location on Mission St across from McDonald’s. I’ve been a Domino’s customer on the West Side for years, and honestly, the old Mission St. location had gone downhill before it closed… inconsistent food, questionable kitchen conditions, and a couple pizzas that actually made me nervous to order again.

The new location is a complete 180. I was blown away. The staff was super friendly, the kitchen looked spotless, and the pizza was perfect. I ordered a large New York–Style pepperoni, and it came out exactly as it should: thin, crisp, leopard-spotted on the bottom, no flop, and great crunch on the crust. Easily one of the best chain-pizza experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Domino’s has been my favorite chain pizza my whole life, and I’m so, so stoked to have a reliable, affordable option on the West Side of Santa Cruz again. Huge improvement, and I’m excited to order another pie soon. Shout out to the staff

They delivered the wrong pizza, but after some prompt and satisfactory customer service we were brought the right pizzas and were able to keep the mistakes. I also got a free one online.

Mediterranean veggie sandwich bread seemed different and the bread was under cooked. Not edible. Really off putting experience. Tasted like they used pizza dough for the sandwhich bread. Tried to file a complaint and it says our order wasn’t delivered yet. Also took almost an hour and a half to get our food. Ordered lava cake and got brownies. Nice one dominoes

This is a Domino’s kitchen only. No on site tables. Order ahead by phone or computer and go pick up. They also take in person orders. However this location maybe difficult to find because the store front is in set and can’t be seen from the street. Parking is limited and spaces are tight. Difficult to get in and out. With that said, the food itself is good.

They don’t even meet the minimum of what they advertise as being the products they deliver. I ordered cinnamon twists and they were plain pizza bread with no seasoning whatsoever. They also didn’t answer the phone when I called them back and kept advertising all of the things about these cinnamon twists that were complete lies which made it worse. And I’m not the first person within the delivery range to report the same exact issue.
