I passed by Buck’s Bagels many times before turning right and giving it a shot and I am so glad I did. It’s a clean, well-lit place with excellent bagels and a very friendly staff. The bagels, both NY and Montreal (wood fired) style are EXCELLENT. The best I have had in the greater Philly area and second only to the legendary, magical and sadly no longer Korcak Bagels in South Philly. The Nova Lox Bagel sandwich is excellent and a great value at a time when menu items everywhere seem to start at $20. Give Buck’s Bagels a shot!

Very cute and modern place. Food came out super fast. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an onion bagel. I asked for lightly toasted but sadly got it pretty burnt. I can see where it would have been delicious if it hadn’t been burnt. The hashbrown I got was a little greasy and a little soggy but not terrible. Overall, once I scrapped the burnt garlic off, the sandwich was actually really good, and the bagel had a great texture. Will definitely go again and just get a plain bagel and re rate them.

Stopped in early Sunday morning to pick up some bagels, there was a young lady standing at the register who obviously did NOT want to be there. No hello, no “may I help you”, etc., when I approached the counter, instead got a monotone “yeah?”……. (we customers are often SUCH an inconvenience, aren’t we?). Luckily someone else bagged the dozen bagels I asked for, she just told me $16 – I scanned my credit card and she pushed the bag toward me. No thank you, and God forbid I get a smile? Bagels are OK…..better than store bought, but I’ve had betters in other bagel shops, the real downer I got from this place was someone who is employed in the customer service industry who doesn’t have a single clue about customer service. Will seek out a new place to get bagels, why go where you’re not appreciated?

Not great but the staff was nice and had plenty of seating. $10 for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a small coffee. Quick service. The everything bagel lacked flavor and was somehow burnt on the outside but not toasted inside. I’m not sure if it is the case, but the eggs tasted like a carton mix, which I don’t enjoy.

Great pizzas that are more unique than other area offerings because of the coal fired oven. The bagels are fresh every day, big and plump. The breakfast sandwiches are big and generous and stay hot for travel for quite some time in the foil they wrap them up in. It is fast and friendly cashier service and rarely much of a wait for something ordered fresh right there on the spot if it’s a sandwich. Pizza takes longer, but is really artisan style, so it is worth it. Very clean place indeed.

I remember them being better. It seems their quality has gone down. Every time I order a lightly toasted I get an overly done burnt bagel. My sausage egg and cheese has a small bit of sausage that covers half the bagel. They used to be better. I will be going back to village bagel Co.

Edit: I decided to give bucks bagels another chance and somehow it was even worse. The everything bagel I ordered was either extremely old or previously frozen. I was barely able to chew through it. It tasted like a frozen Thompson bagel

I have yet to get anything here that I didn’t like. The variety of bagel types is phenomenal, and many times I get them while they are still warm. The one and only issue is how dicey it can be trying to make a left out of the lot, due to a short sight line. Won’t deduct for that, because the bagels are so good… I am a huge fan of the jalapeno cheddar and marble rye. Just the best!

Best Bagels around. When I’m home, I probably go 3-5x a week. Very friendly staff and a good environment. Never a bad experience.

Legit great pizza. Had no idea they even had pizza. The wings are really good too. Seems like you can’t go wrong so enjoy.

I recently stopped by Buck’s Bagels for breakfast, and it was absolutely fantastic! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked goods and rich coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to kickstart my morning.

The selection of bagels and croissants is truly impressive. From classic plain and everything bagels to unique flavors, there’s something for everyone. I opted for a freshly baked bagel with cream cheese, and it was perfectly soft and flavorful. The croissants were equally delightful—flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of crisp on the outside.

The coffee was the cherry on top! Bold, smooth, and brewed to perfection, it complemented my breakfast perfectly. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast and great coffee, Buck’s Bagels is the place to go! Highly recommend!
