Given the option, we’d have gladly traded for okay service and excellent sushi. If you’re looking for decent sushi for a LOT of money, here it is.
Of course, YMMV. I have been enjoying sushi for over forty years. Just sayin.
Parking was not a problem. It’s street parking.
There’s parking in the back and street parking as well. It’s not very large so reservations are definitely recommended.
thank you for the food !
The Arata style sushi – described as “it’s like opening a box of jewels” – was clearly the star of the show! I thought they were quite expensive, at 3 pieces for $13.50, but once I popped the first one in my mouth, it was like the heavens opened up and angels were singing.
This was the first sushi restaurant where we were given specific instructions to NOT dip in the soy sauce, and we followed to a T.
The other rolls we went for – Daniela, Unagi Labyrinth, and Arata Spider – were also exceptionally nice, but still paled in comparison to the beauty of Arata Style.
Can’t wait to visit again!
The spicy tuna crispy kale is a must try.
Omakase 10 pieces is creative and delicious.
