was told that house rules is to charge $.25 for each 1oz
table next to me ordered two tacos and received a bottle of each salsa (green and red)

6 people and usually pay over $75

I liked the place, I ordered the mole chicken enchiladas, the beans and rice were good and the mole sauce was exactly what I was hoping for, deep, dark, savory with some notes of peanut and coco. I also ordered tamales (I liked the pork one, the chicken one tasted a little dry and off), and a shrimp toastada which was decent.
Overall, I paid like 34 for my meal, but I got a lot of food and enjoyed just about everything. Service was decent and the place was clean. I would come again.

The place is small but nice and clean. Ambience is so soothing and colorful… They are bit slow in service but you can’t dislike them for that because food is good. The lady on front will treat you really good and you gonna enjoy visiting here.

When I moved here from Chicago in 2017, I was so excited to have a great taqueria right down the street from me. The food was excellent then. I’m not sure what happened post-pandemic. The last few times I’ve ordered from them the food has no seasoning. Really poor quality. I thought they may have changed ownership. Gave them another chance today…absolutely awful. First they are out of carnitas at 3pm, so I substituted for ground beef in my burrito. It was completely bland. No flavor whatsoever. I’m not one to call and complain, but I did today because I honestly thought it must be new ownership. Nope, same owners according to the woman I spoke with. Not sure what has happened there but my experience there today was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had.
