The new spicy hot pot from this restaurant is incredibly delicious. The flavor is rich, very spicy, and authentically Chinese. It’s perfect for people who enjoy Chinese cuisine. They also offer spicy hot soup (malatang), but I think the flavor of the spicy hot pot is slightly better.

I’ve been Sudbury since 2019, and I always think Sudbury didn’t have any good food until I’m here today. First ever to try this type of Chinese food in a big bowl with meats and vegs in a rich soup, which blows my mind. The milk tea is amazing also. I will be back for sure, and you need to try this, this delicious is kind of from another world.

The food was good, I would have loved it more if the food was boiled in the broth and not water. Boiling the vegetables in water is fine but boiling the other stuff in water gives it no flavour. The service was amazing, they did a great job with making it feel welcoming. The mirror room could use more decorations to make it a more comfortable atmosphere. It would be nice to have a drinks menu with prices. All in all it was a nice place.

They have options for dining in, grabbing takeout or delivery (call in to make sure)! But they’ve also have a  Malatang hot pot a DIY dream but different than what i’ve seen. You get to pick your own vegetables, meats, and noodles,  (just $3.31 per 100gs, with a 400g minimum) , that is weighed before it is cooked to perfection. Here they have an original broth, but also a spicy broth. We got the original (and added extras, garlic, sesame sauce and Chinese pepper oil),  with a side of chili sauce for that extra kick—and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion that was even tastier the next day! Our feast for two was only $35. They also served us milk tea ($4.99) for a small and large ($6.99), made in-house and not too sweet. To top it off Service was great as well! I highly recommend giving them a try!

I loved the malatang hot pot! Affordable, filling and delicious. The service was exceptional and loved getting to hear some facts about the soup. The quirky decor solidified Roll In Dough as my new favorite local restaurant!

The best and the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Sudbury. Telling you as a person who lived in China. Definitely love the idea of hot pot: choose your ingredients and make your perfect soup.
The owner and staff are friendly and nice.

I liked the flavour but I’m worried that someone could get sick here. They provide you a bowl on entry and ask that you select from multiple items in fridges to fill your bowl. The issue is that people use the same tongs from item to item, contaminating raw & cooked meats, seafood, raw veggies, etc. 5 of us came for lunch one day but got worried and won’t be back. It would be more hygienic if those fridges were controlled by the servers themselves and not open to manipulation by the public.

Multiple members of our party also brought their bowls up and were light of the required weight so had to add more. What if you were a light eater?

While service was impeccable the inside is not nice to look at as nothing has been changed from the old Chinese place that was there.

The pricing was fine, like $15 for a good sized bowl of soup once weighed.

One of the strangest & unique places I’ve ever eaten in, to be sure but not sure it will last.

Hot pot is the best here. It was so delicious and the staff was so polite and help us choose the veggie and I never had hot pot before.
They asked me for the spice level and it was perfect.

This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while. The hot pot vegetables had dirt on them, and rotten pieces. I’m sorry I don’t have pics, I didn’t bring my phone at rhe time.

There were two tables, we we first and then a table of people clearly the waitress’ knew and she served them before our table was finished. With TWO tables she forgot the ones that didn’t look like her.

Two bowls of soup was 50.00.

The broth had a dirty, earthy taste to it.

There was just a fountain soft drink, which was not offered, just water in a plastic cup.

The decor was nothing to look at, or take a date on, and the food sucked so much, it’s not worth setting foot in.
