I went down to Hideaway last night to play in my Pool League as a visiting player. I just want to complement the bartender Leah for great service and absolutely always serving with a smile and very polite.

Modern day Cheers minus the attenuation to hairstyles and conflict resolution. Pool tables are nice, bathrooms’clean, no rotten bar smell, food is typical a bar-style menu, but there isn’t a very deep well in terms of spirits; I think Patron is the highest grade of liquor they carry, I could be wrong. Friendly regulars and IRREGULARS make this an ideal bar any day of the week. Pool league, bridge, and other games are played throughout the week. Check it out and take the dive!

Smaller local bar. Usually two pool tables unless live music, and digital juke box. Fair drink prices and decent selection. Food has been inconsistent over the years. Parking is limited in lot, but parking on street seems fine.

We stumbled upon the Hydeaway Cafe looking for a quick bite on our way down 84. We found instead a new friend, a watering hole we plan to revisit every time we pass this way.
The burgers are delicious, perfectly cooked, great portions. And though they don’t have lemonade, the bartender mixed up a delicious substitute. The day we first came they had a $1.50 cheeseburger special, and we were hooked! Came back for more on our way back and though there was no more special, the taste confirmed our addiction.
Much better, the people are friendly and talkative, we struck up fun conversations with a bunch of different people. And sports fans, no need to worry, you’ll find people who like both the Red Sox and Yankees cheering for the games on the big-screen LCD TVs.
A great place, one we plan to visit again and again.

Great locals bar. Definitely a place to make memories. It’s what you would picture at a dive bar. Regulars, new comers. All are welcomed. I go to play pool and enjoy atmosphere.

All of the bartenders here are so lovely and great to work with. It’s the only dive bar around that I know of.

I had an amazing time, I was there for a Christmas party. Food was delicious and atmosphere was great. The bartender was on top of her game. The chef was out checking on food and our party.
