This place is a disgrace to chinese restaurants. We ordered chicken fried rice, cashew chicken, orange chicken, and fried bread. All of it was disgusting. There was a cockroach in the rice. The cashew chicken was mostly celery and bits and pieces of chicken. The orange chicken was 80% breading, 10% chicken, 10% air, and everything was overcooked. You have a better chance of finding better food by going to the buffet down the street rather than this dump. Don’t waste your time/ money.

Just because the food was delicious and I personally liked it I’m giving it 5 stars, however it does not taste like Chinese food. It’s giving healthy imitation Chinese food. It does make me feel better about eating “Chinese food”. Like I said if you’re looking for Chinese food that has that soy taste everyone knows this isn’t the place, but if you’re looking for a less salty, brown rice tasting (no soy sauce the main ingredient) more bland and simple or at the least edible food this is the place. I would continue to order here just because it’s not bad.

I have to say that I’m happier coming to Chinese Express then I was at China dream. The lady at the drive-thru window is friendly to us and the food is pretty good. The egg drop soup tastes pretty good it wasn’t oily or anything. The Chicken fried rice isn’t very salty which I appreciate because I don’t like it when it’s super salty. The egg rolls are very good tasting and their fried bread with sugar Is great. The fried bread is nice and spongy and the sugar is pretty decent amount. The fried bread wasn’t overcooked at all. The only thing I have to say is that the teriyaki beef could have used more sauce. Apart from that I had a good time.

I don’t understand how people are saying this food is good. This gruel is absolute garbage. Every dish has the same sweet tang in it. All the dishes tasted the same. Could not differentiate different so called meats. They all taste the same. Disgusting. Appetizers…where do I start. The beefTeriyaki sticks tasted boiled, not grilled. The cuts were grisell dominated, very little meat. The sauce tasted like that entree sweet tangy mystery. Crab ragoons…complete with that mystery sweet tang. I mean seriously…??? How is this place in business. Hot and sour soup tasted like there was lime in it. Wth??? Visually it looked like when you have a bowl of ice cream then fill the bowl with water to clean it. That’s what it looked like. What a joke. All the review are mostly from 5 to 7 years ago. Don’t even bother. China house in Mustang is by far the real deal if you wanted real chinese food. Absolutely worth the drive.
