Hate to give a bad review because we have come here a few times and it’s always been good but today we placed an order with Uber and the steak fries were missing and I ordered a grilled cheese with tomato and I got what looks like soggy bread with a tiny tomato and no cheese. Very disappointing. Will not order from here again.

Stopped by on a whim and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. Real Vermont cheddar and truly excellent pepper relish. Order for pick up and by the time you’re home it’ll be the perfect temperature to dig into. Enjoy!

Fantastic bacon, cheeseburger and steak fries!! They’re in a small building next to a house. Very limited, indoor seating and some picnic tables outside. I was in town for a few days and very glad I found this spot! I will be back next time. I’m in town.

I moved to wallingford 5 years ago and pass the establishment daily. For 5 years I have always wanted to give it a try and finally yesterday was the day. I never heard of “steamed cheeseburgers” coming from Rhode Island but quickly learned that it’s definitely a “CT THING” lol I’ve tried a few my time being here so far but without question this was the BEST steamed cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious! Loved the atmosphere and the staff and owners are beyond friendly and caring. Thank you for a delicious lunch ! Look forward to coming back again

This is a gem of a place. Its a nice laid back restaurant right off the main stretch. The food is definitely worth a stop since it’s very tasty and has a definite plus of being reasonably priced.

I strongly recommend stopping by and giving it a shot on your next trip.

Mouth watering and sizable burgers. Today I stopped in on the way through Wallingford and had the steamed burger with cheese, bbq sauce, and grilled onions. The Vermont cheddar is addictive. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The picnic tables offer shade and it’s a lovely outdoor meal on a nice day. Such a cute spot! Can’t wait to visit again! Come hungry. Texan friendly.
