The sides were really good, but the bbq was inedible!! It was dry, tough and over cooked. Also, it was higher than the price listed on the online menu. This is the 2nd time we’ve tried this restaurant and won’t be back.

I really wanted to love this pace. Like I really really did.
The staff is wonderful and super polite.
My issue is the food. BBQ was just okay. I thought it would be more savory or pop more than it did.
But my lack of stars has to do with the sides. They were bland and tasted almost store bought. The potato salad and coleslaw lacked flavor and almost tasted the same. The fires were not only cold but tasted old when I picked up my order. I live 10 mins away and if they would of fried them up when I called it in they should be hot and crispy. Instead they were stale, dried out and probably sat under a heat lamp a few hours.
I was just not impressed. I would go back maybe for meat by the pound, but no sides or plates for me.

I have there little over 6 years now some good mouth watering bbq slaw baked beans and potato salad they are the best of gibson county you get one bite that’s it you are hook and keep going back for more they are both really nice people you will ever know
