Food horrible. Penne Caciatore (sliced steak strips with mushrooms,onions and green beans in a creamy sauce) Pasta overcooked was slime, steak was 3 chunks and sauce was water.
Apologised that steak pizza was late, steak wasnt cooked and needed extra time. Eventually arrived steak still wasnt cooked and cherry tomotaoes were thrown onto pizza at end not cooked. Definietly wont be back.

Food delicious as always but service could be better, had to ask for drinks and again had to ask for our order to be taken.

This is a great wee hide away has a rustic italian home feel to it I can see the feel they are going for , had the king prawn salad which was way better than I thought it would be the flavour was amazing so juicy. Would have been better to have fresh olives tho that was a downfall for me if going to an true Italian I wouldn’t expect jared olives but the rest was amazing

4 of us all with different tastes thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
The food is excellent,the staff are professional,helpful and friendly.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
It is also in a great location by the river,ideal for a walk in pleasant surroundings along the river to burn some of the calories off after the meal.
Give it a try,you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent pizza and solid Italian wine selection. Friendly staff, who were welcoming and kind. Great location. Some parts of Dumfries are a little run down, but this is a really lovely area. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant has a classic Italian feel. It reminds of the ones my Italian dad took us to when I was a child. Gorgeous and delicious pizzas, lovely service and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.
