Was on the way from Williamsburg back to Fredericksburg and my husband and I wanted a bite. Googled food near me and this popped up. They didn’t have a lot of reviews but the ones they did all said the food was bomb.

Decided to take a chance, and so glad we did! The service was awesome and the food was delicious.

I got the fried wings & orange French toast my hubs got the wings & fries.

The orange French toast was soooo good. Light, fluffy, and packed with flavor! The wings were meaty but still had the right amount of crunch.

Def recommend to anyone looking for some place new to try!

We stopped in for lunch. It was fairly quiet, in fact we were the only customers, which had me a bit nervous at first, but I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The food and service were both excellent! Very friendly staff and a quality meal.

I enjoyed a fantastic cooking class with Chef Ausar and his staff. We took a group of approximately 15 people. We all broke into small groups to prepare a portion of the meal. The food was delicious, the staff was supportive and the group had a great time. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Went to restaurant, didn’t know what to expect. I was amazed. The food was fantastic, tasted out of this world, flavorful and presented in a spectacular way. Mamosa was very good!! The chef came out to introduce himself and made the meal even more excellent. I will be back and I will spread the word about this gem in Northside!!

Very nice little restaurant that we stumbled on accidentally today. The food was very good, the waitress was very sweet, The atmosphere was cute being in the old fire station, and relaxing music in the background. I had the blackened salmon, others had a burger, a steak dinner and a french toast all delishious.

The jazz show was good. Chef is to be commended. Food was outstanding. Keep up the good cooking. Purchased a small bottle of salad dressing but thought it was too expensive for such a small am’t.

This place did not disappoint! Such great food + the owner is friendly, food is made from scratch and fresh, and they even stayed open for us since we called ahead.

This truly is a hidden gem, highly recommend to locals & travelers passing through – short detour off of i95.

Thanks Ausar!!

My employer sponsored a cooking class which was such a neat adventure. This place has great promise. I love the idea of converting a firehouse into a restaurant. The owner is lovely and very talented but it needs some cleaning up (especially outside). I will support because it’s such a great idea, definitely will be back for dinner one evening.

Firehouse 15 Restaurant is located in Highland Park within a neighborhood. Parking is on the street and within the neighborhood. The building is an old firehouse. My mother and I went for Sunday Brunch. I ordered the Orange French Toast with cheddar cheese scrambled eggs and a side of turkey bacon. Mom had 2 pancakes, cheese grits, fried egg, and turkey bacon.

Let’s talk about the orange french toast. This is the FIRST time I have had french toast that was so moist and flavorful that I didn’t need butter or syrup. The aroma greeted me before my plate touched the table. I cut into the toast with my fork and the first bite almost had me in tears because it was sooooo damn good. I wanted to kiss the chef but that would’ve been too much . 10 out of 10 recommend.

Griiiiiits… I am not a huge fan of grits, but I said hmm let me try them anyway- Creamy, cheesy and full of flavor. My oh my were they tasty. My only issue was I couldn’t get more french toast because I arrived too close to closing .
I will be back to try something else soon.
