I went through the drive through. Usually when I order I have to make most of my orders special due to my dietary needs. Plus I have to admit I’m picky too but. I am proud to see that this Burger king has done an excellent job meeting my dietary needs. Not too much mayo or no salt fries. Wonderful job Burger King in Harlan IA.

I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes and ordered fries and a drink got my bag and went home opened the bag and see two chicken sandwiches. So I go back bring the receipt and get my food but they didn’t even put the sauces in the bag. :/ service was not great and the person taking orders was apologizing to a lot of people. Seems like they mess up orders a lot. Please check your bags before you drive off

The restaurant was incredibly filthy – there is no other way to describe it. The food was haphazardly thrown together (poor presentation) and not remotely fresh (I know, I know – “fresh” for a fast-food restaurant). And the staff did not appear clean, greasy hair and sloppy clothing. 100% DO NOT recommend!

Staff at this location are great! They are always happy to help and are patient as well. They have good recommendations when it comes to options and are willing to be creative. The inside dining area still has the old school feel to it with benches and tables and the fun windows. The restrooms are always clean. The food here is consistent and I stop here when I am in Harlan. The fries are usjally crispier here than I’ve experienced at other locations ans that makes a big difference with the overall taste of the fries. I’ve had the chicken sandwiches here, and they are all good. Recently tried the spicy chicken too (with the spicy sauce) and would recommend. The whoppers are always good. Ive recently began customizing burgers through the app and the options are wonderful. The inside is never too busy and the drive through is never too busy either. TheyRecommend!!!

I can’t rate the food because the order was wrong. On 11/06/24 at 5:15pm, I stopped at this burger king via the drive-thru. I told the lady taking my order I wanted the “your way meal”. When she asked me what sandwich I wanted with it, I said the Chicken. I asked if it was fried or grilled. She told me it was fried as they didn’t have drilled chicken anymore. I said ok. I got my order and drove back to my hotel. When I unwrapped the food, I noticed I didn’t have the chicken sandwich, I had a Jr whopper. I ordered the chicken because I don’t eat beef. I had to drive back over to the BK and told the lady (same one to took my order) that I ordered chicken because I don’t eat beef. She said we’ll make a fresh one for you. She told the cook she needed a chicken sandwich as she laid the Jr Whopper on the heat bin. I could hear him say “what’s wrong with that one?” She told him it was not chicken and he said “I cooked a chicken sandwich. I put it in the bag!” I told her I just wanted my money back as I wasn’t there to hear a cook complain about customer service. Since I paid with a CC, I pulled it out so they could refund it to my card and she says “you don’t have to pay. You already paid”. I told her I just wanted my money back. She asked if I was sure and I said “yes. I didn’t come to hear him complain”. I ended up getting cash as their system wouldn’t process the refund on the CC. Not that I was expecting it, but most FF restaurants offer SOMETHING as an apology for the inconvenience of having to make TWO trips to get a simple order. I travel throughout the state for work and can honestly say, this is almost the WORST effort at customer service I have had; second only to Long John Silver….both Urbandale and Council Bluffs! Save yourself the trouble and go to Subway just down the street!

NEVER AGAIN!! Downloaded the app and ordered the hamburger day deal but the app failed every time I tried to check out. I went to the counter and offered to pay there but the tool at the counter and the manager refused saying they wouldn’t do that. My wife did get the burger deal with fries and both were totally cold. Not even slightly warm and a complete disappointment. We asked for ketchup and pepper and were told that they didn’t have any. I deleted the app and went to Wendy’s. The manager at Wendy’s was happy to help me navigate the app and get the burger day deal. I’m going to Wendy’s from now on when I am in the area and I highly recommend that everyone should AVOID the rip-off Burger King and go to Wendy’s. Wendy’s food is MUCH better and they also provide helpful friendly service.

while waiting in the drive-through for 25 minutes I noticed that there was many people inside but people trying to get in could not because the door was locked and the majority of the people trying to eat in were elderly who took a decent amount of time trying to get to the door in the first place only to see people are eating in and the door is locked. After that, once we finally got to the ordering station in the drive-through we had to wait another five minutes before we were even spoken to, we finally ordered our food, and we drove around waited another five minutes to get up to the window. once we were there we paid and waited another five minutes to get our food which so happened to be cold.
