I would give them five stars, but one item, white rice, was completely missing from the order. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize it until we got home. Aside from that oversight, the experience was very good.
I tried going here one day on my travels but they were closed for a private event. So, because I heard such good things, I decided a week and a half later that I’d drive 2hrs back to try again. This time calling ahead to make sure they’d be open. On my way there, about a half hour before arriving, I called to ask if I should order now or wait until I got there as it was inching up on 2pm and they close at 3pm to prepare for dinner service. He had me place my order – Chicken Green Curry, Beef Pad Thai both medium spice and then since they don’t have Crab Rangoon I asked him to suggest an appetizer. He recommended Goong Gaborg. Got that too. About 15mins later I got a text stating it was ready. So, I was super excited to get there quick. Hands down absolutely loved the Goong Gaborg (contains peanuts) – shrimp rolled up with goodness and fried and served with a sweet dipping sauce. You get a bunch of them. They look similar to a taquito but with a wonton wrapper. I’d eat those every day great recommendation, Thank you! The Pad Thai was excellent even better at room temp. And the Green Curry and rice was awesome especially the next day with all those flavors melding. I’m glad I made the trek back. It was good eating. Staff was very friendly. Lucky are the ones that live nearby.
Service is good but not overly warm and welcoming. She didn’t really want to make recommendations. She just wanted our order. There was a misunderstanding in our order, though, and she corrected it without additional charges or any hassle which was very appreciated.
We really enjoyed the PoPia, Drunken Noodles with chicken, and Gai Yaang. All was well prepared and delicious.
Would definitely recommend eating here for the very good
Thai food.
There are dining tables outside the restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch sitting outside in the sun.
We started with Spring Rolls with peanut sauce and just craveabley fresh and tasty.
We went family style with drunken noodles (medium spicy with chicken and veggies), and yellow curry chicken with veggies… The food was fresh, hot, and delicious.
If you have an insatiable need for Thai, you can get much of what your heart desires at Tomi Thai.
