Absolutely beautiful setting for breakfast. Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and the island. The food was something special. The waffle showed how much time, care, and love were put into a simple dish. Lobster Benedict was superb. Can’t wait to go back and will recommend to as many people as possible

My fiance and I had breakfast here and both agreed it was one of our best meals in Maui. Everything was so fresh and well balanced. The egg white fritatta was delicious!

Food was good, fried rice was very good. Great view. Incredibly overpriced even for Hawaii. $36 for eggs Benedict is insane.

Honestly, we were very surprised by how reasonable this restaurant was for breakfast.

We tried to get into another local business but couldn’t find parking. Cane and Canoe was right down the road and had plenty of room, complimentary valet parking, and a gorgeous view.

It is tricky to find because it’s inside the Montage Kapalua Bay resort on their lower level. You’ll see signs for “reservations required” but that only applies to dinner service. We were seated right away without delay when we visited for breakfast and only a few tables were occupied when we arrived. It did slowly fill up though as we enjoyed our stay.

The food was delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

Our server was nice enough but at one point all of the staff disappeared for quite a while and it was noticeable. It felt strange for a few moment but when they returned everything was back to normal.

Overall a wonderful experience.

Great night! Our appetizers where so fresh and delicious, and main dishes where cooked to perfection. We recommend the Pineapple Upside down dessert. Pricey buy worth it.

Gorgeous resteraunt that has indoor and outdoor at the same time. Fantastic service. The scallop on marscapone corn puree was pure bliss. The sweet corn lobster agnoletti was delectable. The filet mignon might have been the best I’ve had. The crust was amazing and cooked perfect. 48 hour wagyu short rib was packed with flavor and tender. Cocktails on point and the nice birthday dessert was rich and decadent. Worth the trip. Going back for sure.

Food was perfect! Starting with the sweet corn agnolotti with lobster, followed by fish of the moment (mahi mahi) and 48-hour wagyu short rib. We asked if we could order one glass of wine per course and split it for a paired tasting – “yes of course”! And it was our anniversary so they finished up with an amazing chocolate mousse cake with raspberry puree. Views were beautiful and romantic. Run don’t walk.

View and setting was amazing.
Service was spotty. Asked for water a few times before getting it.

Food was good. Tempura snapper was incredible.

I would not get the baked Hawaiian next time. Unlike baked Alaska, the different components of the dessert don’t really go well together.

My wife and I wanted to pop in last night after dinner and have dessert. We know that meant we wouldn’t be a big money-maker for this place, we just wish the staff were a little less obvious that we weren’t worth their time. Once we said we were there for dessert, no one was friendly. The hostess sent us to the bar and told us that all the empty tables we saw were reserved. The bar staff disinterestedly told us “Uh, I guess you can squeeze on the bench with that other couple if you want? They’re friendly.” Then sent us back to the hostess, who told us it would be an hour wait. We thought about going somewhere else, but decided to wait. We got back and the same tables that we saw empty when we first checked in were still empty (and stayed empty the whole time we were there). It was awhile before anyone came to even bring water.

The dessert was delicious. We had the coconut cream tart and it was amazing. The space is well designed and feels wonderful. But the attitude of the staff put a real damper on the experience. Again, I get that we weren’t a big money maker, I just wish the
staff had been less obviously disinterested. I’m sure the food is amazing, but it will be hard for me to want to come back for a meal because of our experience last night.
