The remodel has totally changed the look and feel here. If you’re looking for a chill place to grab a drink, play some bar games, or hang out on a cool patio(summertime of course) this is your spot! The prices are good and the servers are friendly. Clean dive bars are always a good option!

It’s always been a working man’s bar a lot of fun. Great entertainment. They have pool, darts, horseshoes out back
A beautiful patio and they have the Idaho lottery gaming machines there which I play a lot of.
And they got too happy hours

This place is a hidden gem. Love the beer options and karaoke. Always fun shenanigans happening to keep it entertaining. Tip: Karaoke starts at 9:30 not 8:30 like advertised.

Stopped by on a “birthday bus” excursion for my husband’s 40th, which I’m sure could have been annoying when you suddenly get flooded with 16 people at once who are only having 1-2 drinks in a short period. But the two bartenders working were super accommodating and we appreciated them making it fun.

I had to drop my dog off at the groomer across the street, and needed somewhere to hang out to while I waited. Decided to pop into Jim’s Alibi and was not disappointed. The bartender was super sweet, made delicious drinks, and let me use the wifi so I could do some work on my laptop while I was there. Fun place for an afternoon hang.

I’ve been stationed in Idaho for the last 2 years and almost everyday I’ve driven past this bar and always wanted to check it out. I finally decided to check out the place this past weekend, but they happened to be at capacity. The security guard then began to let 1 person in for every 1 person that left, but inconsistently. Finally I was next in line to enter and I was told that they were at capacity and we’d have to wait. So I waited in the cold with about 5 people behind me. Some of those people ended up going around the back and entered the bar from the back just to only walk literally to the front (in front of the security guard) and tell their friends to come around the back where they got wrists bands. Pretty soon it was just me outside looking like an idiot, as cars full of people left. Finally, I called it quits and called an uber after waiting approximately 25 mins in the cold, plus another 13 mins for my ride…

Awesome little dive bar. Great beer selection and good spirits as well. Reasonable prices and their daily specials are great! Really cool and friendly staff. Nice spot to chill and get a beer, pretty popular on weekends. 10/10 would Jim’s again.
