Reviews
This is not the kind of customer service you expect, especially for a large family order. I honestly don’t understand how this place has good reviews. The food was bad, and the place itself looked dirty and poorly maintained, like cleaning isn’t a priority.
—This review reflects our experience with the food we received. I’m sharing my honest experience as a customer. The wings we received were dry, the fries tasted old, and the vegetables were still frozen when served. This feedback isn’t meant to be personal, just a reflection of what we experienced with a large family order.
We chose to leave a review rather than call because customers are allowed to share their experiences publicly, just as businesses are allowed to respond. Unfortunately, the tone of this response further confirms that this isn’t a place we’d choose to return to.
I wish that I was writing a positive review about how friendly and helpful they were. I try to find a the positive in every situation, but the only positive I can say came from this incident is that I will positively never, ever, ever cross the threshold of this business.
They may have the best hot wings this side of heaven, but I cannot now, and will never be able to report that.
What if this had happened to my grandmother, my mother, my wife, or my daughter? What would have happened had this been one of my sons, or someone else that may have engaged him with the same level of anger? Could this have had a tragic outcome?
The America that I see around me today in January of 2026 is filled with frustration, anger, hatred, and fear. My dreams for the people in America are that we treat other with Grace, that our hearts are filled with our love for one another, that our mouths express that love, that our ears are filled with the gentle affirmations of our belief in each other, and that we seek out ways leave those around us better for every interaction we have.
I hope that whatever the issues are that are troubling this gentleman are resolved, that he finds peace in his heart, and that those around him show him grace and love. Peace be with you sir.
UPDATE: Response to Roco’s Hot Wings comment- I did shake your hand as a part of my apology for making you feel disrespected. At that moment I realized that the risk of the situation escalating out of control was greater than the risk of being stranded on the side of the road. I’ve been told that you only get to make one “first impression” and the first impression you made was less than stellar.
Again, I’m sorry for making you feel disrespected and for making it seem that we blocked your parking lot. That being said, when the pickup truck with the flatbed trailer (trailer large enough to regularly haul full size pickups and Suburbans) pulled into your parking lot the driver had more than enough room to drive around both the broken-down vehicle and my Suburban to get into a position to load the Ford Fusion. You are fortunate enough to have a large parking lot, so large that we felt it was safer to use a small part of the lot than be on the shoulder of a busy highway. If someone zoomed in on Google Maps they would likely be amazed at the size of the parking lot. On top of that we were parked in front of the other building, not in front of the restaurant but part of the same parking lot.
I really hope that anyone that visits your place in the future gets to see a completely different side of you and your business.
Drove from Austin….. Did NOT regret it….❤️
From the amazing friendly, above and beyond service to the bomb a** food.
(As a New Yorker this says A LOT!!!!)
Whenever I am in Texas which as of lately is frequent I always make time to pull up here.
Do not hesitate- just go!
Thank you to the amazing staff for the southern hospitality!! ❤️
Roco’s Hot Wings
I can’t say enough good things about Roco’s Hot Wings and the incredible owner! Last night, my boyfriend, my dad, and I were having car troubles right outside the restaurant. It was late, and we were a bit stressed, but the owner went out of his way to come check on us. He made sure we were safe, told us it was perfectly fine to park on the property while we worked on the car, and genuinely just wanted to make sure we were okay.
It’s rare these days to meet people who show that kind of kindness and care — especially so late at night. We were truly touched by his generosity. you can tell this place is run by someone who cares not only about great food but also about people.
Highly recommend supporting this business they’ve earned every bit of love and loyalty from us! ❤️
