Came in here during a rush. Erin took my order and made me the best tuna fish sandwich I’ve had in my life. I will no longer be a regular at Jersey Mikes. Potbelly is the way. Erin had the whole line under control and handled everything immaculately. I don’t want anyone else making my sandwich. I have been to other sandwich shops and saw rats, however, this place is super clean thanks to Erin’s amazing work

Ordered a “big” size prime rib steak. Barely any meat. Barely any cheese. I added caramelized onions, they used raw onions. The meat and cheese doesn’t even cover the sandwich, and the heap of raw onions is disgusting. Basically a raw onion sandwich with a bit of meat and cheese. Charging $15 for this heap of garbage should be criminal- and forcing me to go back to the store for a refund(because this was a pick up order) is just a shady business practice. Additionally, they charged $4.59 for chips and a drink (absurd) and they didn’t even have the chips when I got there. It’s been a few years since we went here, and now I remember why.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop – Disappointing First Visit

I leave reviews because I rely on them when I’m in unfamiliar areas, and I enjoy supporting local spots I haven’t tried before. Potbelly was one of those places.

While staying at a nearby hotel, I decided to stop in for a Mediterranean sandwich with hummus—something I’d looked forward to trying. I was greeted politely by a female cashier and followed the signs to the ordering area. After a short wait, she called someone over to take my order. The young man who arrived seemed disengaged and didn’t greet me. When he asked a question I couldn’t understand, I had to ask him to repeat it—it was about the sandwich size. Since it was my first time there, I asked if he could show me. He held one up, I said that was fine, and asked if it could be cut in half. He told me to let the next person know, but no one ever followed through.

Back at the prep station near the register, the same female employee asked if I wanted all the standard ingredients—I said yes. She then asked about guacamole, which I declined, though she shared she enjoys it on that sandwich. I appreciated the small talk, but it was unclear who was actually making my sandwich—there didn’t seem to be a clear flow or responsibility.

When I got back to my hotel and opened the sandwich, I was disappointed. It was thin, under-filled, and not visually appealing. The portion looked like something fit for a smaller size, not what I had selected. Thankfully, I had grabbed some spicy mustard because the sandwich lacked flavor. Also, it wasn’t cut, as requested, so I had to tear it apart myself.

While it was edible, it didn’t come close to expectations. If I had been closer, I probably would’ve gone back to address it.

Tip: Check your sandwich before leaving. The ingredients were sparse, the service felt uncoordinated, and the overall experience just didn’t deliver. If the young man is still in training, someone needs to be guiding him more closely—customer service makes a big difference.

Very unique fast food sandwich shop and more. Friendly service, great delicious subs, soup and salad, and yummy milkshakes. Good sandwich selections. I normally don’t like sandwich, but daughter loves this place. Now I am convinced.

Food was good. But gloves weren’t worn by employees and nobody had their hair covered. No hats or hair nets anything. Last time I checked that is mandated by law for contamination purposes.

I have eaten Potbelly a number of times. Their sandwiches are stacked and very tasty. I got the Veggie Melt this time and their Churro Shake. The sub was perfect-full of flavor! And they have a lot of veggie toppings. The shake was good, but not as creamy as I would have liked. Will definitely be back! Thanks guys!

The sandwiches were made mostly correct. They were toasted well. I am not sure how putting on gloves is the same as washing hands before gloves like the sign says. Where are the adults in this place. Kids eating and drinking and not doing their job. The equipment looks filthy to me below the metal belt, does it get clean at all during the day? Disappointed in the way the employees behave and the lack of supervision.

First time here, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordered the Avo Turkey sandwich and Broccoli Cheddar soup. Both were good. The turkey on the sandwich was too salty for me but I’m sensitive to sodium. Overall, I’d try the place again.

My chicken pot pie soup was cold and the staff said they couldn’t warm it up for me. Offered to put it in a warmer after saying it was on 69 degrees and they couldn’t understand why the soup was cold. Then said they didn’t know how long it would take or if it would even work to warm up my soup. They were also out of the horseradish aioli, and for the price I paid for the skinny sandwich, it was not worth it. Poor meat proportions and quality. Very disappointed in the food and service.
