A little bit of this and a little bit of that is what our grandmother used to say in Peru when she was preparing her delicious empanadas. We always wanted to go to her house to eat her treats. She always spoiled us with flavors! We brought her flavors here! So that you can enjoy traditional Peruvian flavors everyday!

I was here about 4 months ago and the service was good and attentive, and the food was also delicious. This time was no different: excellent food, great people, and the place was very cozy despite the cold weather. The girl at the cash register was very efficient, so I’m giving them 5 stars, they deserve it! I highly recommend them!

I love Peruvian food. This place makes me feel like I’m am eating in Peru. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Ceviche, and Pan con chicharron. Yummy

The empanadas are just okay. Ive had way better and flavorful empanadas stuffed with more filling elsewhere. These taste like gas station quality and not worth the price.

The menu has a lot of items, but I guess due to the holidays they were out of most of them. Got the empanada combo to warm me up after the Fairfax Christmas Market. I really enjoyed the cheese and beef empanadas.

Only complaint I would have is that the workers shut off the TVs with what looked like Music Choice after we got in and ordered. If the workers are reading these: “A este estadounidense le gusta el canal de música. (perdón por la mala gramática, uso el traductor de Google)”

The stories from the other posters are a bit confusing… I guess there’s a car thief in the city who really likes empanadas!

Wife and I stopped in. New joint, was pretty empty. Food was excellent; we shared a beef empanada and pollo saltado, plus a big glass of lacuma. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. I’m deducting one star because they don’t yet have a point of service system installed, they only take cash or venmo for now, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, great experience, and we’ll be going back.

This place has some amazing food, the ladies that run the place were nice and helpful. They didn’t oversell the food, they offered suggestions and gave me a meal that had so much flavor I left me thinking I could eat another plate if I wasn’t so full. You can’t go wrong here.

This is simply THE BEST in the area for traditional Peruvian food.
I’ve tried so many other places in the northern Virginia area and I’ve always left disappointed. Finally I’ve found this jewel in the heart of Fairfax city. The food gets cooked in front of you right there when you order it. The taste is on point and the size of the portions is very generous. My family had the Jalea and Tallarin Saltado con Carne and we were throughly satisfied with both the delicious food and the friendly service.
The place looks like it just opened. I wish them success and many years more so we can keep coming back for the excellent Peruvian food.

No food available in display at 12:30pm. Had to ring a bell to talk to anyone. “Do you have empanadas?” “Yes, but I’ll have to put it in the oven. It’ll be 10 minutes.”

Great Beef Empanadas, Authentic Peruvian Style and good papaya smoothie
I am Peruvian and it’s hard to find empanadas in NOVA that are really 100% Peruvian style. Specially the pastry dough. This place uses the dough we use in Peru, or the one you find almost anywhere in Lima or the coast.
A beautiful empanada with a bit of sugar powder on top of it served with pieces of lime. Just like in Peru! It was delicious, the papaya smoothie (fyi does not come with milk) was great as well. We finished our empanadas so I only took a photo of the juice left in the glass
I highly recommend the place to stop and grab a snack or a lonche. (tea time).

What needs to change: the atmosphere. Poor decor, needs a bit of coziness.
