We got the steamed dumplings, sesame chicken, and beef with brocolli bento. The dumplings were pretty good and the soup was too. Unfortunately the main dishes werent that good. The fried rice tasted kind of like orzo it was too tough and buttery. The chicken was just average but the beef was pretty good.

Great! Stopped in for takeout, and everything was very good.

Tried sometbing new tonight and i really liked it: the Monkey Roll… shrimp tempura, mango, avocado inside, wrapped with soypaper & brown rice, topped w.crab meat & mayo. Highly recommend!

Always great food and great service… But it’s even better in the restaurant. Love the rolls… Special or regular… can’t go wrong!

Food on the right night is good to very good. Get the wrong night and it is sub-par to mediocre.
Stick to the busier nights of week when they seem to have a better kitchen crew.
Here is my problem with them …
Unlike just about every other takeout restaurant in the world, they refuse to put packets of mustard in take out orders! They put all the usual – soy, duck and even chili oil (which most places don’t put in) … but they will not put mustard in the bag. When asked why they tell you to ask them for it (stupid) … then they try to charge you for their house made. Which just isn’t great. If it was I’d gladly buy it.
So, when I order I specify very clearly – “please add the packets of yellow mustard” (they have them, I know. When you pickup – you can take as may as you want from the box).
And even when you clearly ask them to put it in the bag for the delivery order, they don’t . It’s the most bizarre thing.
Tonight was the last time! They’ve lost a 20+ year customer over mustard packets because it amounts to awful customer service. Last time I spend $80 to end up eating my meal without something I asked for .

Good food but terrible customer relations. Got takeout. Received and was charged for a a wrong item and never received the item we ordered. Drive 8 miles to pick this up. Tried to call for two hours. Always busy signal until I finally got through and they took no responsibility. No refund no credit UNACCEPTABLE

Food was very good. Crab Rangoon’s delicious. We did take out and everything was fresh and tasted yummy. As a vegetarian it would have been nice to be able to get broccoli in brown sauce as a combination but they wouldn’t do that. I had to get a side of noodles and they were a bit dry but all and all the food was good. Definitely my new spot for chineses food.

Visiting the area, I was jonesing for some sushi. I found the right place, and now, so did you! The Salmon Dylamite was great! The fried noodles were worth a trip back on their own. Miso soup?? Very good, generous portion for sure. Philadelphia rolls were fresh. I will be back.

Being from Hawaii I know that my standards are a little different than your average NJ gal.
That said, I am so happy I tried Lo’s Garden!! We ate in, the staff was very attentive and patient. Miso soup was the best I’ve had since Waikiki. The gyoza, edamame, and tempura were just what we expected. The chicken curry does have a fusion vibe, Japanese curry with a Chinese flair. And the Kim Chi… SO FRESH. I would come back just for Kim chi and a bowl of rice.

I ordered steak and peppers, but after eating the six pieces of steak, I was left with undercooked peppers and onions. It felt like a waste of $14. To make matters worse, the customer service was consistently poor. This will definitely be my last time spending money at this place.
