Wow! What a great place for dining! An outstanding upscale Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend their seared Scallops with pasta, the Lasagna, the Chicken Marsala, and their stuffed clams appetizer. You definitely will want to make reservations ahead of time. We had a booking for a party of approx 30 and they easily accommodated us upstairs. I’m willing to say this is probably my favorite restaurant in the Hilton Head and Bluffton area. The food quality and dining ambience is that good. I would also say this would be a great place for a special occasion or romantic place for a proposal. Highly recommended!

Four of us dined here last night , we sat at a high top in the bar area . Great service , food was excellent, I had the Branzino nice and crispy and flavorful . My husband had the Halibut special , he said one of the best he has tasted. For dessert we shared a cannoli , omg you have to get this for dessert . So so good !!
We had a very sweet waitress but I can’t remember her name , she was very busy but also very attentive and did not rush us.

The food was good as expected, but very salty. Unfortunately, there was a gentleman Bartender, who is serving us initially, and he was the most rude person I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. He was nasty and condescending. Fortunately, another server took over and she was excellent. Our experience was ruined by the male Bartender and it’s unlikely we’ll go back again

Hopefully an isolated incident….but we have eaten here several times in last few years. December 23 we had a normal reservation at 7pm for 4 people. Place was mostly full but no huge wait. Seated and proceeded to wait 30 plus minutes to get one round of drinks. One hour to get salads, hour and a half for entrees which only showed up after we complained to waitress. She told us they had a party upstairs for 35 people and were short staff. Manager came by and made similar excuses and said dinner was on them just please tip the waitress. Entrees arrived. Good as usual but not great. Ordered one desert. Cake was stale. Got check and saw they compted only the entrees. Manager was gone. Left at 9:40 and were the only people left. Very disappointing. Don’t book large parties if you can’t handle them and not screw your regular customers. Should have gotten up and walked out after first hour! Won’t be going back.

Dishes were over salted to the point of being inedible. Chicken Marsala was lukewarm warm- sent back. Came back over seasoned with salt. Spinach on my filet dish (Demi-sauce) and app (3 scallops) was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Told our server, she replied “we’ve told them”….No management in site. Place has gone down hill in our book. We are moving on for sure.

We were excited to learn the chef came from Calabria Italy the same region our summer home in Italy is located . While the food was delicious and well presented we had possibly the worst waiter we have ever encountered. From the very start we noticed she had an attitude and the final straw was after watching every other table around us being shown the dessert tray with the waiter explaining each dessert we were told 3 times the tray was not available yet it was clearly visible sitting on the stand . Given the restaurant was not very busy I politely pointed out that I was unsure which dessert I wanted and perhaps she could bring the tray to our table of 4 . She hastily brought the tray without any effort to describe any of the desserts so basically we were left to order off the sheet menu not sure if we were going to get what we were looking at on the tray .
Obviously this waiter did not represent the restaurant as would be expected and instead of the normal 30%+ tip I reluctantly left a 15% tip .
While food was excellent my one star is due to the restaurant not returning my call to discuss this issue with the server and her attitude.
Perhaps the food is so good patrons are willing to patronize for the food hoping they are not waited on by this person ? As for our table of 4 we will not be returning or recommending this establishment due to the horrible server .

It was our first time at Mulberry Street Trattoria. My wife and I loved it. We met Ruth the owner and her nephew Chris! Lovely family- we ordered the meatball and sausage appetizer- Delicious- especially the homemade tomato sauce, it was to die for. For dinner my wife got the chicken piccata and I got the chicken parmigiana with house salad- all excellent choices and very tasty! I highly recommend this place- and will definitely comeback for dinner!

We had been wanting to come here for lunch, and it was wonderful! They brought bread that was so good you can’t stop eating it. Being vegetarian I got the eggplant parmigiana sandwich with the salad, both were delicious, the eggplant was so tender. There are vegetarian pastas on the menu too. Husband got a pasta dish with spinach and chicken he said was wonderful. The service was great and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.they are only open for lunch on Thursday and Friday but are open nightly and the dinner menu looked great. Lunch prices 10 to 20.

Destiny was my server and she was amazing! The team did an excellent job in making my wife happy on her birthday! Great food and great price! I had Chicken Parmajohn and my wife had chicken packotta (I did those to make you smile)(pause for smile)…. Will definitely come back here again! You have to get a meatball when you’re there!
