What really made this visit special, though, went beyond the food. Rokko’s has such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I had my two-year-old with me, and like many parents—especially those with a rambunctious toddler—going out to eat can sometimes feel stressful. You worry about disrupting other diners or not being able to fully enjoy the meal.
That wasn’t the case here at all. The staff welcomed us with open arms, genuine kindness, and even took the time to appreciate our little one’s enthusiasm for Hot Wheels cars. A two year old may appreciate it in the now but I will remember the experience for a lifetime.
Rokko’s was a great food space for me as a college student who needed a welcoming environment to connect with friends, and it still feels that way today—even all the way in Coeur d’Alene. Thank you for making our lunch experience something so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
Everything we ordered was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality in every bite. The place is also super clean and cozy, which just adds to the whole “feel at home” vibe.
Huge shoutout to Dave and Ines for creating such a special spot. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️
The food is phenomenal. I got the teriyaki beef with fried rice and it was great. The flavors are balanced nice and the sides fit very well. My girlfriend got the shrimp yakisoba and it tastes like good traditional yakisoba that seems simple but has a lot of flavor. The presentation of both was very nice.
The food was a little high in price (around 50$) for the 2 dishes, 2 iced teas and 2 miso soup sides. But I felt for the most part it was worth the money. You do get a good amount of food for your money as well.
Service is great and they are very friendly, the employees are working hard and willing to modify your order for most needs. The employees seem happy to be here and serve with a smile on their face. The restaurant was also very clean and tidy
Overall 9.5/10
Service was fast and friendly! My friend was avoiding gluten and the staff had great suggestions to accommodate her needs. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, with plenty of seating outside or inside.
My yakisoba was incredible, just like it was years ago when I last had it! Packed with flavor, tender chicken, and satisfying.
You must visit!
One year later edit: we are back, still BOMB!
