Service was fast, staff polite and friendly and I’m sure many of the snacks are worth it. The food however was mediocre at BEST verging on not good. Ube cookie was stale, burger in the loco moco was partially crunchy, and flavor lacked all around. Teri chicken plate had an extremely small amount of chicken in relation to the rice, and the rice was bland. If rice is going to be the bulk of a meal…find a way to enhance its flavor. Or otherwise give MORE of the actual chicken, charge slightly more, and offer the rice as a free side (like how many Asian restaurants do). $12 for a very small amount of chicken and an abundance of rice is not fair.

I want to give more stars, as I love traditional Hawaiian food and the staff was friendly…But I can’t because of the food quality, attention to detail in the food lacking, the stale cookie, and limited bang for your Buck. I feel robbed. I would like to note the prices ARE fair…if the food was up to par. But it wasn’t. Could’ve been an off day but Will not be returning. For the same price i can get better food nearby in Bloomington.

I was feeling a bit under the weather and ordered this from Door Dash. Upon arrival, I noticed the wonderful fragrance of the Teriyaki Chicken. It was packaged perfectly and had a pretty flower on top. It tasted wonderful and the chicken and rice were moist. I also ordered the Pineapple Salsa with WonTon Chips. So tasty! I highly recommend this place. I’m planning on eating in the restaurant soon.

Hawaiian Hoosier – The food here is incredible! I had the fried rice with spam and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted—absolutely delicious. While there’s no indoor seating and it’s not really set up for dining on-site, the warm, kind people and amazing flavors make it worth it.

I often use Hoosier Hawaiian for events and they never disappoint, we ordered custome bags with a signature snack mix and they were fantastic. I also love the teriyaki chicken and anything with spam in their dished. Highly recommend for an event or a fun place to grab lunch and hear great music on the weekend.

Wow, what a special culinary treat thats only minutes walk from my office at Seven Oaks. Very fresh and flavorful food made to order. I did the fried noodles, wanton chips with pineapple salsa, then a last minute pink drink, Guava flavor. Very friendly and cute shop of other products. Will be returning!

Teriyaki sliders were awesome! So was the Mac salad. The fresh juice and fresh fruit really hit the spot on a hot summer day. They had nice live outdoor music too. Can’t wait to be back and try more.

Delicious! They were so kind and made my food so fast despite having had a large catering order that day! The sticky rice with SPAM was so good and the chicken buns were amazing.

Small little shop located in down town ellettsville. The restaurant looks like a town home and the moment you walk in your greeted with an amazing smell of food and an assortment of other goodies to buy in the shop. The food was amazing and I highly suggest trying the sliders and pork sausage with rice.
