Overall, I would recommend choosing another establishment. The food quality was poor and not worth the price, with much of it being dried out. Despite the restaurant not being full, it was very loud and not relaxing at all.
More concerning was the behavior of the restaurant owner. Our table was continuously stared at, which felt intimidating and inappropriate. As a woman, I found this especially uncomfortable. Another table with children was being disruptive (popping balloons and being loud), yet they were not addressed, while our table appeared to be singled out. I didn’t mind the children’s behavior—kids will be kids—but all guests should be treated equally. I told the owner I won’t be coming back.
Based on this experience, I strongly caution Indigenous folks and femme-presenting individuals against dining here.

Excellent food here, some of the best in Whitehorse. Every meal I’ve had here over the years has been great. They even sometimes have some funky specials, like the one time they had kangaroo. Can be a bit on the pricey side once you factor in some wine or drinks with your meal, but well worth it.

Service was horrendous. We had a reservation that was booked a month in advance for our Christmas staff party and we had to stand around waiting for a table for an hour. When we were sat at our table another hour had passed. Then it took them ANOTHER 30 MINUTES TO ORDER DRINKS. They said they wouldn’t take our orders as they were with another party and didn’t even apologize. After 2 1/2 hours we were ready to leave. We were hungry, thirsty and weren’t given any time of the day. I’ve never experienced this before.
I won’t recommend this restaurant.

Food was visually pretty but tasted okay but was not as good quality as I expected… given the price range I had higher expectations. The steak was really fatty, though the peppercorn seasoning was great. It had potential. I’m from the city and medium-rare does not constitute so heavily bloody. I felt embarrassed to send the steak back to the kitchen so just ate it. I think they should ask a bit more questions to make sure the customer and the server are on the same page regarding the steak… especially us city folk newly exploring Canada’s great North. Lingo and interpretations around “how do you want it cooked” regarding stake can vary. I understand culture can be different so I’ll give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Food felt average but was charged at a premium price, my partner ordered the salmon and also felt that it wasn’t worth the premium price. Though the tiramisu cake was good!

Food was good and drinks were outstanding. Service was slow but understandable because they were busy. Server was friendly nonetheless.

Reserved table for 4.
Meals. 8 oz sirloin, tough and over cooked.
Chicken skewer. Very dry.
Lamb skewer x2 very tough and tasteless.
2 Atlantic lobster tails….omg..the worst I’ve ever had ,small and honestly disgusting.
Bottom line..over priced , terrible meal..( all 4 of us left very disappointed.
The atmosphere wasn’t pleasing ..loud.. hard chairs and a hour wait for our meals.
The only decent part was the service and drinks.
We won’t be back

We just ordered dessert and it was a crumb of a portion. I couldn’t believe it cost us $16 for two little pieces of baklava that came with no ice cream and two little brownies but also never came with ice cream.. The brownies were also $16.

I stopped here on my last night in Whitehorse and couldn’t be happier. The entire menu looks fantastic and it took me a while to decide what to order. The Caesar salad is fantastic. The dressing is homemade, very bright, and very fresh. I settled on the Seafood Fettuccine for my main and it was wonderful! All of it was cooked absolutely perfectly and the sauce was incredible. So rich and flavourful. I wish I could give Giorgio an extra star!

Food is great. $14 for two glasses of Ice Tea which seemed extensive, I wasn’t aware refills weren’t free and between the ice and small glass, barely get anything to drink. I understand inflation but I’ve never seen that type of price gouge anywhere. I feel the friendly service is no longer there with the automatic 18% gratuity. I don’t mind paying it, I just felt a very negative/cold vibe. Maybe it was just this night as I’ve been going for years but I felt really disheartened with this experience as I never write reviews. But at the end of the day the food is amazing and Kudos to the chefs!

After a long day of cancelled flights and frustrations I decided to check out Giorgios Cuccina, it was a great pick!
Besides a small set back of waiting for someone to take my order (waiter came and apologized for a mis-communication between staff on who would be attending to my table) the food and drinks were delivered promptly, the food was delicious and well prepared, large serving of pasta and great dessert (I had the penne asparagus and berry new york cheesecake). Overall great service and food and next time I am in Whitehorse I would eat there again.
