Sweet Sinay’s Reviews
If you like Khmer and Southeast Asian food, you should consider dropping by PP Restaurant for your eating and drinking needs.

The food is some of the best Cambodian that I have had in the States, or indeed, anywhere outside of the Kingdom of Wonder. The curry was pungent and aromatic with plenty of coconut notes and it was pleasantly plentiful as well. The spring rolls are also astounding. The desserts and drinks are not overly sweet so you can catch the tropical fruit flavours better. All in all, simply delicious.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful for those who are not so familiar with their way around a Cambodian menu. I even got acquainted with some other customers (who just happened to very handsome, not that I would notice )

The decorations are simple and tasteful, more akin to actual Cambodian style than the overblown decorations at some other places.

Spicy and Sour Sinay says:
The prices are surprisingly reasonable and the location is not that far from Cleveland Airport. I can’t think of any good excuses for not dropping by. Hopefully, you can’t either.

Phnom Penh is one of my favorite go-to places, and I have been there 8-10 times. I wish I could say that I know the menu inside out, but I always order the same thing (what can I say, I am a creature of habit!). In the past I used to order the Vegetable Pad Thai with tofu, but now I have a new favorite: Khmer Bunn: a big bowl of noodles with lettuce, cucumbers, ground peanuts, Asian basil, chopped egg rolls, and little fried tofu squares, all covered in a delicious tangy and sweet sauce. This is my idea of comfort food that I could eat every day. The ambiance is nothing special, but I am always there with friends, so the ambiance is fine. I never leave Phnom Penh dissatisfied and I always look forward to going back.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekend, and we all thought the food was very good. Most of the family had the pho, with a couple getting the Cambodian dishes. The Cambodian dish Taprom was actually terrific, just the right amount of spice and plenty of food was given. All around a decent, affordable meal – just the parking lot being a one-lane drive can be a bit dicey when someone coming in as you leave.

The crispy spring rolls are a must! Food is fresh, well seasoned and plentiful! Phnom Penh has been around a long time. A classic that stays true to their cuisine not trends.

This place does not get the attention it deserves. The food is consistently delicious, and unusual. Don’t order the pad Thai thinking it’s going to be like what you’ve had other places; the Cambodian style is decidedly different.

The restaurant was very clean with beautiful Cambodian decor. Service was excellent, the woman whom took care of us was attentive, polite and gave great recommendations. I absolutely loved the spring rolls and although I chose a more basic dish chicken soup with rice noodles, I tried my boyfriend’s food and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it (chicken lemon grass). The facility is handicap accessible!

This is the second time I am tasting Cambodian food. I do not remember the name of the dish I ordered but it was roasted pork with rice and vegetables. The food was above average. Plenty of parking at the back of the restaurant. Great service.

We visited the restaurant in Feb 2025. The dishes we tasted are ok. Parking at behind the restaurant

First time visiting the North Olmstead location… we went at an odd time but received a warm welcome and excellent service. The food was so delicious and healthy. The place was super clean and nicely decorated. Prices were great. Parking in back – just watch the narrow
‘Two way’ lane to get back there…

Food does not the spot, It’s always been a tradition when we go out of town to always try a pho spot. Broth was decent, but portion is very small. Beef had a spoiled/old taste and had a green color to it. Definitely would not recommend

Portions are smaller and more expensive than you get elsewhere but the food was fresh and delicious, and the waitress was nice. One thing I did not like is that they don’t seem to want to give you an itemized bill, just a verbal grand total. I had the Chicken Fried Rice, the Cambodian Crepe, and a Sprite and my meal was $24.50 not including tip.
