This place is unbelievably good. I actually drove out here from Manitoba just to try out the barbecue. The Mac and cheese is delicious. The ribs were cooked to perfection. The jalapeno poppers were amazing. The staff are super friendly. Lots of parking. The facility itself is very clean. I can’t wait to come back here next time I pass through. Regina.

Our first experience with Smokin’ Okies BBQ was when they catered an event at our home for 60+ people two years ago. Not only was the food amazing, but Shirley was so patient with me along the way! We have since used them more than 6 times (I have lost count) for other large gatherings and more intimate dinners, and as recently as Christmas 2025. They are our go-to caterers as we know the food will be excellent, and they go above and beyond to enhance the experience. They catered for a large family gathering after a funeral, and their compassion and flexibility was so appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend Smokin’ Okies for their delicious food and exceptional service – they will not disappoint!

This is our favourite restaurant to go to for a quick, and delicious meal. It is much healthier than fast food. We have never had a bad meal here and the service is consistently good. Because of this, it is the restaurant that we usually choose when we invite friends and family to enjoy a meal out with us, as we have never had anyone disappointed by their meal.
You place your order at the counter, pay and then grab a table. They bring your meal out to you and are very diligent at refilling drinks and checking if you need anything else.
Honestly, the only thing we don’t love is that the only thing they ever have on TV is FOX News. Who wants to watch news when you are trying to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing meal out?

I ordered the Mac & Cheese, BBQ Wings, Beans and CornBread.
Mac & Cheese was flavourless and the noodles were overcooked.
BBQ Wings tasted like vinegar. The meat was tender however.
Decided to forego the beans and cornbread and toss the rest of the meal. Not worth the price I paid. Won’t be ordering from here again. I’ve had better.

I tend to double-check and panic about the details, but Shirley consistently reassures me with her calm and organized approach. Even when we had to change the amount of food last minute, it was handled with grace and understanding.
Their team is truly amazing, and the quality of the food never disappoints. I will absolutely continue doing business with them in the future. Highly recommend!
