We stopped in on Christmas Eve around noon since there were very many places open. They were incredibly welcoming, our food came out extremely quickly, and it was so good! My girlfriend and I have a lunch date planned for later this week because I am just so excited to go back. This will likely be one of my go to Sushi spots. I can’t believe it’s taking me so long to try it.
I completely forgot to take a photo of the menu, but that will be upcoming when I return. Everything tasted very fresh and was well prepared and presented.

Excellent sushi, the flavors were spot on and a great little lunch or dinner spot to stop by. The one thing I will note that may be helpful to others is that the sushi is HUGE. Typically my husband and I order three rolls everywhere we go and that’s usually good to fill us up without being overfilled. At Chitose, we got the OMG, Big Baller, and Crazy and these rolls are maassssive. The Crazy by itself was the size of 2 rolls and the Big Baller, each piece was about 3 inches in diameter. Delicious and great in flavor, but just keep that in mind when ordering!

One of the best sushi places around excellent customer service great people super nice to my little girl even gave her a balloon when we left. Amazing rolls the big baller is to die for amazing place will be back soon! Update 4 years later still coming this is the best sushi in the central coast if you haven’t been you need to I have been all over the state trying sushi to come back to my hometown to find the best ever ! Staff is top notch! If you haven’t tried it yet you need too!

This is the third time I have been here. Food is good. The amount of garlic edamame was good. A little salty for us and the amount served now doesn’t fill up the bowl like it used to. Our server did a great job. We will be back

I ordered a seafood teriyaki platter with veggies. Was supposed to be shrimp, scallops and white fish. The two shrimp were fully encased with the shell and had to be opened with your hands There were no scallops at all and with the white fish was a strange meat that I couldn’t identify, maybe pork. And there were no veggies. After voicing my displeasure they did nothing. This is a $28.00 plate that I will never order again. On a brighter note, my husband enjoyed his suchi.

A very disappointing experience at Chitose last Monday. The restaurant was almost empty, so the service was great, but the sushi was terrible. Watery and flaccid, it had clearly been deeply chilled or frozen, ruining the texture and taste. I’ve always heard that Monday is a bad day to go for sushi, but this was the first time I had a bad meal at Chitose.
