Picante Mexican Grill offers some of the best micheladas in the area. The food is exceptional and authentically prepared, with flavorful dishes that truly represent traditional Mexican cuisine. The salsas are especially noteworthy, adding the perfect balance of freshness and spice to each meal.
I highly recommend Picante Mexican Grill to anyone looking for a genuine dining experience. The music enhances the atmosphere, creating an immersive and vibrant setting that captures the true essence of a Mexican restaurant. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with a warm and inviting ambiance

A very small place to stop in, soon as I saw the size of the sitting area I knew we picked a good spot!
Had a Quesdilla with lengua and a torta.
This is one place that doesn’t mess around with the torta size! More places need to make em this big! Loved it. Quesdilla was very good, the meat was just bursting out everytime I took a bite. Nice portion sizes
The red salsa is smokey, I wish it was spicier. So cool to see a creamy red instead too for a taco spot!

Highly recommend. A full & vibrant menu of delicious selections while the owner and staff are simply awesome. Currently, my favorite menu item is the Taco Costra w/ Arracherra. If you haven’t, you really need to. Best taco I have ever had… And that’s saying something. Cheers.

This is a gem of a Mexican place! The food has a better and more complex flavor than the typical Mexican joint, and everything seems fresher as well.
Service speed was insane. I didn’t even think they had enough time to heat up the grill.
We got the street corn, nachos, a covered burrito, and a Mollete. Everything was great.
Our server was also awesome. He rolled with me trying out my terrible kindergarten level Spanish and helped me learn a few things.

Ordered steak and chicken tacos, they were delicious. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because one order of the chicken tacos was supposed to be no onion and cilantro but there was. Overall satisfied though.

Best tacos, burritos and guacamole in Elkhart! Service is fast and friendly and has never let me down. I go here at least once a month and have NO complaints whatsoever.
Keep up the great work!

For the amount of food you get for the price, you can’t beat the quesadilla from Picante. Tons of meat and cheese. It’s so good I can’t bring myself to get anything else . Restaurant is small and seating is limited, but there always seems to be at least one table open whenever I’m in here. Go grab yourself a quesadilla, but come hungry!

Best tacos I’ve had since I lived in Cali. Very fresh and delicious, the tortillas were amazing! The service was also excellent, you can tell how passionate they are about this food.

Stopped for lunch the other day and highly impressed! Staff was polite and helpful, food was on the table fast. The sauces were actually good with distinct flavors and my burrito was excellent. I feel like most of these “authentic Mexican food” places taste the same but my grilled steak burrito had a lot of flavor, good seasoning and not tough or chewy. Will be back soon to try more items.
