A good old and old fashioned diner! Think WaHo but back 60 years, as this place opened in 1967. Great burger, great rings, chicken fingers and hot dog looked good, and the fried chicken and meat loaf smelled amazing. I’ll be back again and again!.

You know it’s a great place when there’s no place to sit. Old fashion diner style restaurant. Authentic service and quality food. Healthy portions, a good selection, and perfect for lunch and dinner. Limited seating, but you are able to order food to go or call them for a take out order. Overall, I loved the flavor of my club sandwich, and I can’t wait to go back and order it again. I love these gems we have here in Canton!

In town, needed a breakfast place. Love to explore local eateries. Basket Shack hit the spot. Not being a local, felt right at home. Comfort food, breakfast choices galore. Lunch looks promising today, fried chicken, hamburger steak and pork chops with vegetables sides. Nice place.

My husband and I wanted a good BLT. We googled where to find one in my area. We have wanted to try this place so we were glad that this was one of the top places.

BLT – really good reminded me of my childhood. Classic!

Famous battered fries – No real flavor. The fry was undercooked but the crunch from the batter was not bad.

Onion rings – They were good nothing fancy which was nice.

Staff were nice and the food was made to order and pretty quick.

We will try this place again and would recommend.

This place is definitely “Old Skool Kool.” The restaurant says it’s been here the late 60s. The ladies working as servers and in the kitchen were friendly and very speedy. Coffee was hot and hit the spot. Biscuits and gravy are very good. I really enjoyed my Western Omlet.

Wonderful fresh biscuits and great service. Will return for sure, haven’t found a nicer breakfast biscuit in the area. Love that it’s a traditional diner atmosphere.

Since new owner took over the food portions have shrunk and prices went way up. It use to be a good place to go, I have been a loyal customers for many years. They can’t even make gravy anymore.
One thing you can be the only one in there and it take 30 mins or longer to get your food!

I felt like we stepped back in time. It pleased me to find an old style cafe. I felt like I was 30-40 younger . The hamburger was great and the battered fries were amazing. This place has been under our noses all this time. We will be back. The bathroom was clean as well.

Fun and friendly little place. We came for breakfast on a Monday morning so it wasn’t busy. The staff are friendly and the place has that small town diner feel. The food was good and not expensive. Will definitely be back to try one of the burgers.

I’ve gone for breakfast twice. Some of the food is precooked, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, and gravy, but it’s much better than I would normally expect. My only critique is those items are not very hot when served. The sausage gravy is better than most and even when you order items that have to be cooked fresh (over easy eggs) they are really quick. Biscuits are very tender and thick. If you prefer thinner or crustier biscuits you might be a little disappointed but overall this place is solid. Portions are large.
