I think my experience today has unfortunately put an end to my years of coming to Dearborn and Dearborn Heights Nutrition. I used to love this place, my sister and I were at Dearborn’s opening day 6 years ago and we love the owners Jerrison, Kate, Brandon, & Heather. However, they’re not around as much and both buildings are always being run by a younger crowd. They don’t have the same customer service that the owners have, so I’ve noticed quite a decline throughout the years. The atmosphere seems so cliquey and unwelcoming, and if you’re a customer who’s not one of the workers’ friends then they don’t really care about you. I’ve heard a handful of inappropriate and unprofessional conversations while visiting, even heard the workers making fun of people after they walk out. There’s been countless times where they’ve been outright rude to me too. My last straw was today at the Heights location, I walked in and the guy at the register (I think his name is Mehdi based off of another review?) was cashing someone out. He did not care that I was waiting in line and continued to talk to his friend that he was cashing out, making the process longer and longer and letting me wait. Then he said bye to his friend, looked at me, then turned around and walked away from the register and went to the back of the counter and went on his phone. The other guy who’s always working there (this guy is actually always very nice!) was sitting on the couch and was umm hello?! There’s a customer? Mehdi didn’t care, he ignored his coworker too. Then the female coworker noticed too and was like what are you doing, you haven’t helped her yet? He ignored both of them and continued scrolling on his phone, so they had to come and help me instead. I’ve blown off so many interactions that I’ve had here that were like this, but I can’t do it anymore. I miss when these places had the owners working. It’s a shame, but I will be going to Lincoln Park and Southgate Nutrition from here on out 🙁

First time trying this place, and as soon as I walked in, the staff were just hanging out and chatting with no one at the register. My first thought was, Are you even open? Who’s working here? One girl looked at me like I was bothering her by asking her to do her job. Terrible atmosphere. They eventually took my order, but the drink was mediocre at best. Meanwhile, all their friends were hanging around, talking about school, vaping, and making the place feel like a high school lunchroom. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

This place has a great combination of service and product. The smoothies taste amazing cinnamon roll is highly recommended. This is a good meal replacement after a workout. Service is always welcoming, and you get a family vibe every time you go in.

I never thought I would LOVE a healthy shake but WOW. Absolutely delicious. And the service, JUST AS GOOD. Helped me pick a shake and tea, and greeting me with smiles and kindness right when I walked in the door. Will definitely be a daily customer. Amazing experience at heights nutrition. It comes without question that I’ll be visiting this place again. Absolutely outstanding hospitality by the staff. I feel extremely welcomed here. Besides the great care of the staff, the teas, shakes, and açaí bowls here are to die for! Such incredible flavor with the healthy aspect we’ll incorporated into it! They have earned a lifetime customer!

If I don’t have a shake and tea combo from The Heights Nutrition every day, I don’t feel like myself! They give me the energy I need to work all day and keep me feeling full. Every single shake I’ve tried has been downright delicious! My new favorite is pumpkin with oreo .
The owner is super sweet and kind and always puts a smile on my face! The whole staff is awesome… I highly suggest you give this place a try!

I am in love with this shop. I always get great service. Where else can you go and have a great drink and play jenga or conncet 4. The staff are super polite. I love that the Heights Nutrition are always adding new things to their menu. I have a very picky palete and I have never recieved a bad tea or shake. But the waffles & acai bowls are mouth watering.
