A taste of New Orleans is exactly what we received last night. My wife and I dined in the subtle restaurant and it was way more than expected. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, soft jazz music filled the air with dim lit lights and a huge tree that cascaded the inside of the seating / bar area. Beautiful scenery. As an appetizer we got a fried ravioli crawfish platter that was excellent. I ordered a Cajun shrimp and red potatoes and the Mrs’ had salmon plate with Cajun green beans that did not Miss. it exceeded the expectations we had going in.
With appetizers and drinks for the both of us, price was very accommodating.
We’re never dessert people, and we both got a dessert to end the dining experience to take home. Cheesecake with carmel drizzle and my wife has the Milky Way pie.
10/10 will be making this a 2x a month date night event.

Not sure where to start. Italian is one of my favorite, Marcello’s is now my go to. The food was outstanding! The staff and service is impeccable. Very inviting, quaint, and perfect location!!!! Thank you Dennis and Cadance for making us feel like family!!!!!

First time dining here. It’s hard to find a worthy veal parmesan along with chicken piccata. Marcello’s delivered. Both were so tender and flavorful. Veal parmesan could have used more cheese. All their sauces and dressings are made in house and it shows. The onion rings were light and just the right amount of crispiness. The bread pudding was most excellent. Our server, Myia, was very friendly and professional. Portions were large and very reasonably priced. I usually don’t order eggplant parmesan in a restaurant because it is never as good as mine but after our experience tonight, I am confident that Marcello’s has a good chance of impressing me so that will be my choice next time. Highly recommended!!!
Updated – second visit on 2/14 Valentine’s Day. We had requested Myia but were never told if she was there or not. It started with a reservation that couldn’t be found for about ten minutes, then a debate between staff as to where to sit us, then being ignored for another ten minutes or so before we were greeted. Then it got worse. I wrote up a detailed review on Yelp.
We will not be returning!

My daughter and I love trying new restaurants and understand new establishments need some grace sometimes. Well, we were blown away with how great the service and the food. The calamari was not greasy and fried to perfection with a very generous portion. I am not a marinara person, but their sauce is incredible and heard it was a long time secret family recipe. I love that. We truly enjoyed our lunch and we welcome Marcellos to OS!

We tried this place because we had seen it online. I had the trout meunière and wife had the veal. My fish had a slightly overpowering fishy flavor and the sauce looked to to be over done (dark). I have had this dish multiple times in different restaurants as it is one of my favorites but I would not order it again from here. My wife’s veal picatta also had a unique flavor in a bad way.
We both were disappointed in our dishes and probably won’t be back. The service and atmosphere were very good and worthy of noting. Parking was on the street.
