cooked with love. The kabobs are my favorite, so tender and full of flavor. The staff always makes you feel
like part of the family, and the atmosphere is so cozy. I keep coming back because I know I’m in for a treat
every time!
The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, making sure everything was just right. Service was prompt, and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend Loud Kebab to anyone looking for high-quality food and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back!
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was prepared with care, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. The Kabuli Pulao was perfectly cooked, with tender lamb, sweet raisins, and carrots that balanced the flavors beautifully.
It was so delicious, and tasted just like homemade Afghan meals. You can truly feel the authenticity in every bite.
What I love most is that the flavors feel authentic and thoughtfully prepared, not rushed or generic. Everything tastes like it’s made the right way, the way food should be. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are always satisfying.
Sides:
Their chickpeas are 10/10
Their spinach 10/10
Their potato stew 10/10
Mains:
I get their chicken/kubideh combo and I can honestly say they have the best Afghan food in Virginia. Their rice is made fresh every single day you’ll never catch them using the rice from the day before I can even swear by this.
White Sauce:
I’ve been to many different platter spots from Los Angeles to New York and I can say their white sauce recipe is 10/10. It has the perfect tangy flavor to the white sauce and it’s the perfect consistency of thickness.
Bread:
There bread is a perfect blend of flour and grain which is the most authentic Afghan bread baked fresh PER ORDER in an authentic tandoor clay oven.
The meat was not a real kebab — instead of thinly sliced, well-seasoned meat, they served dry, tough chunks that tasted and smelled strange, more like cheap stew meat.
The sauces were just basic store-bought sauces, bland and not appetizing at all.
A proper kebab is prepared very differently, and unfortunately this place doesn’t represent it. I won’t be coming back.
This is a serious food safety issue, especially in a restaurant. Service was also poor, the owner was rude and impatient, which creates an environment where customers feel uncomfortable speaking up in person, let alone raising concerns about sanitation!
Instead of arguing with customers in the reviews or offering refunds after the fact, the focus should be on properly sanitizing the restaurant, especially the kitchen.
Reviews exist so others are informed, not because customers are afraid to speak directly or because they want a refund. Based on my experience, the high rating does not reflect the reality of this place. It’s mainly family and friends leaving the reviews, that’s how it is with Afghan owned restaurants. Every honest customer has mentioned not recommending this place!
