Great cup of dark roast coffee, and the mocha was blended perfectly. Great balance of chocolate and coffee. Prices are great, and I love the fact that they hang their awards in the bathroom. That kind of subtle humor is a wonderful indicator that this joint knows it is on top of the coffee game, but maintains its sense of humor and excellence.

Great coffee with a smooth taste that awakens your innermost yearnings. The ambiance makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The retro touch via a blast from the records and player adds a unique and meaningful touch to the overall experience.
As a side note, they do have Wifi (5G) and oat milk as an alternate base for those who prefer non-dairy.
The staff is suburb, courteous, and on-point in every respect. Keep it up!

Extremely friendly staff and easy to get in and out if you need a quick order.
Pastries, treats, fresh, locally roasted and brewed coffee, been a BMT staple since 2010 ‘ish.
Many locals are through here daily, plenty of seating inside (with music, vinyl) and outside patio (hwy 70 noise).
Vending machine for bagged coffee if after hours.
Ask the staff about taking home a bag, they will grind to your specific brew method and bag up multiple options.
My go-to faves for home brew are Mexico # 4 grind fine for pour over, and Sumatra # 6 grind, medium for regular drip coffee pot.

We have been wanting to stop and check this shop out for quite some time. We finally had a day off and made it part of our morning.
The shop is small, so take-out is best or a quick meeting with one or two people…at most. The staff was super friendly and could not have been more helpful. The barista took the time to make me a pour-over of their two darkest coffees and both were excellent!
Although it took us a while to get there, we will definitely be back. Also, they have an outdoor vending machine for their coffee, which is a brilliant idea. Great local coffee at any hour.

This place is a whole vibe. The coffee is great but the atmosphere is even better. We tried the drip coffees and bought several bags to take home. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Black Mountain.

Dynamite provides the coffee for a bunch of our favorite local businesses and we finally made it to their brick and mortar. They make a KILLER latte and their straight up black coffee is unlike any other.
Make the stop (it’s like 2 minutes from down town) and buy a bag of coffee for someone else. They’ll appreciate it. Enjoy your cup out back on their deck! Fantastic.
