Well visiting Door County this was the only bar near us that was open late. If you’re looking for a place to have a drink and not be bothered by anyone including the bartender, this is the place. “Chip” sure made it hard to want to hang out and have a drink but he did give you a warm, cozy, feeling that he was doing you a huge favor to wait on you.
If you’re feeling down and out and are looking for some cheer, maybe go to the grocery store instead or a gas station.
Chip is also not a fan of you playing music on the jukebox.

Walked in and was greeted politely by a local and Jan Paradise (easy name to remember)
Me and my buddy we’re up in door county for the weekend and we were just looking to get a few drinks at a decent price. Found Dutch’s, and don’t let the exterior fool you. It’s great on the inside and if you meet Jan she’s a lovely person and kept us entertained the whole night!
Definitely recommend.
