This is legit the best Chinese food I’ve had in years the service was so great a quick. The place itself is nice too the prices are a bit high for Chinese food but it’s so worth it!! The presentation and quality of the food is great not to mention they come out with the food so quickly. I was surprised they even packed away our extra food and put it in a bag for us. 10/10 service and experience.

I had the orange chicken with rice, and it was delicious rich flavor and great texture. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive, although the wait time for our dishes was about 40 minutes.
The best part is the location. There’s access to the deck right by the river, which makes for an amazing view while you enjoy your meal if the weather is nice. Plus, the shared parking lot has plenty of spaces, which is very convenient.
Overall, a great spot to visit for tasty food and a relaxing atmosphere by the water.

New Year’s dinner. All tables had forks. Had to ask for chopsticks and tea in a Chinese restaurant. Geared for a non Asian clientele. Food was surprisingly good. Somewhat noisy.

Drove from Cleveland, OH to Edgewater, NJ on Christmas Day so we decided to stop for Chinese and we were blown away… this place is amazing! Texted our family back home that we just had the best Chinese dinner ever! Today 12/29 we are driving back home and had to stop at River House for carry-out so our family can try it too! Everything we ordered was incredible but the sides of Chicken Fried Rice and Pork Fried Rice were a generous meal itself! If you decide to expand… check out Cleveland, Ohio… we’ll send everyone your way!!

As I always say, have to try it out for myself. Can’t always trust reviews or people’s words. I’m genuinely surprised with this place. 1) Expensive for the portion I got. 2) All one sauce. Brown sauce on everything. 3) Oily 4) I’ve never had brown sauce on my seafood pan fried noodles. Maybe it’s just me, but that again goes back to the one sauce comment.

We were looking for a spot after a day at SoJo Spa and I had a hankering for Beef Pan Fried Noodles. Found this place right across the street which was convenient since we were super hungry. The food was fresh and delicious AND the BEST beef pan fried noodle I’ve had in a long time! Staff was friendly however as it got busy it took a few tries to get a refill from our waitress. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese flavors, it’s definitely worth a visit. We ordered three entrées—one fish and two chicken dishes—along with sides of lo mein and fried rice. Each entrée came with a bowl of white rice, which was a nice touch.
The standout dish for me was the Fish Fillet with Ginger, Scallions, and Hot Peppers. The flavors were well-balanced, and the fish was so good I saved it for last. Among the chicken dishes, we tried the Szechuan Style Fried Diced Chicken and the Chicken with Garlic Sauce. The fried chicken was solid, but the garlic sauce dish was a pleasant surprise—something new for us and definitely worth trying. I recommend pairing it with the spicy sauce they provide; it’s flavorful without being too hot.
The lo mein tasted fresh, like it had just come out of the wok, and complemented the mains nicely. We also ordered soup dumplings as an appetizer. They were served hot, but didn’t quite meet our expectations—we’ve had better elsewhere.
Overall, the food was satisfying, and the prices were very reasonable. Great flavors without breaking the bank.

I am writing to express my strong disappointment with the extremely poor customer service I experienced when contacting your restaurant by phone. During my call, the staff member I spoke with was disrespectful, rude, and at times raised their voice and yelled at me instead of trying to assist or resolve my concern professionally. What made the situation even worse was that my call was disconnected twice during the conversation, which felt dismissive and unprofessional, leaving me frustrated and unheard as a customer. I understand that restaurants can be busy and stressful environments, but there is never an excuse for speaking to customers in an aggressive or disrespectful manner or hanging up on them rather than addressing their concerns calmly and courteously. I have always believed that good service is as important as good food, and this experience has left a very negative impression of your establishment. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, reviewed with management and staff, and used as an opportunity to improve how customers are treated so others do not have a similar experience.
