Lovely experience at the Coffee Shack! I googled this ahead because I was visiting from out of town and like a good espresso. I was not disappointed! The lunch salad is VERY generous (mine was a cranberry, feta, walnuts on fresh mixed greens)and my daughter’s BLT was delish and came on brioche. It really is more than a coffee shop and features handmade gift items and a huge selection of coffees, as well as coffee brewing supplies and teas. Very relaxed and quiet atmosphere. I loved and and walked out with an amazingly smelling handmade tallow soap ($6, buy 3 get one free) and coffee ($19).

The Coffee Shack is one of my favorite spots to sit, chill, get some work done, or hold a casual office meeting. They offer reliable Wi-Fi, comfortable casual seating, great healthy food options, and an excellent selection of teas and coffee. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit enjoyable. Check out the photos of the food, menu, and storefront—you’ll see exactly why I keep coming back. Highly recommended!

4.5/5 stars — I came in probably 40minutes to close and the young women working hooked me up! I am not a coffee drinker but with the advice of the barista at the register I had a Sweet Tart Lemonade (Valentine special) and it hit the exact right spot. The atmosphere was good but there were lots of empty tables crowded into the space so I don’t know I would want to go back at peak times if it ever gets really busy.

So I got into an accident and I told the officer I need a lift to a coffee shop because it was cold and we were outside for a while dealing with all that, and he brought me here.
I moved away years ago so I didn’t know about this place. The owner was awesome, I walked in with my belongings from my car and just beat from the morning I was having and he told me to chill out on the couch and decompress with a nice hot lattee as I figured out what to do from there!
He roasts his own coffee too, pretty good!

Coffee roasters, like microbrews, are usually excited about their product; that’s what we experienced here! Their sign says it well, “our coffee is never bitter and neither are we”! Very efficient service, pleasant seating and decor! Great people doing great work!

Ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, mocha latte, and a peanut butter, banana nut, and jelly muffin. I got my breakfast sandwich on multi-grain bread, probably should have got it on something else – it was still good though. The mocha latte was really good. A lot of coffee places make mocha lattes too sweet but this had a good coffee flavor. The muffin was interesting but honestly I would have been good with a banana nut muffin. The muffin also seemed a bit thick. It was worth a try!

Coffee Shack is a wonderful little establishment ! I got a sugar free iced vanilla latte with almond milk and I quite seriously think it was the best latte (of that kind of low calorie option) that I have ever had. The espresso was wonderful and tasted perfectly strong but balanced. They use the 1883 brand of syrups which you don’t see many places (at least in this area) and they are very good! They offer a lot of different regular and sugar free syrup flavors, a good amount of traditional coffee drinks, and an amazing selection of non-coffee beverages. They have a great breakfast, snack, and lunch menu as well!
The space is a mood for lack of better terms. It’s lit with ambient lighting but could be a little too dim for some people. They have quite a bit of space and tables, a meeting room with a door able to be closed, and a couch and some comfy chairs. They also have two high chairs which apparently is not super common at all coffee shops, so big plus for those who need them!
The only downside to coffee shack, really, is that it’s out of the way in a not so convenient location. However, it is 1000% worth the trip every time!

This little place is off the beaten trail (but not by much), and I think it’s a hidden gem. It’s 100 times cooler than Starbuck’s and the coffee and tea is just as good. And, it never seems to be very crowded. And so it’s also very quiet and chill. That makes it so much better for having a conversation or getting work done than in the chain coffee stores.
Its decor is on point for a coffee shop.
The staff is very friendly.
The food is very basic but also very good.
It’s in an unremarkable strip of businesses that seem more like a warehouse area, but I highly recommend checking it out. I bet that if you do that you will probably become a regular.
